Thousands of bikers descended on Washington, D.C., Wednesday to protest a Muslim march provocatively timed for the 12th anniversary of 9/11.

While the "Million Muslim March" looked likely to be a flop, the "2 Million Bikers" event brought participants from throughout the eastern seaboard. One estimate put the number of bikers there at 880,000.

So many turned out that plans to have them ride through the streets of the Capital had to be changed. "There are so many motorcycles that trying to go through Washington, D.C., would not have worked," ride organizer Eric Zern told WTOP-Radio.

I'm not a biker, but I met quite a few at the local car shows and cruise nights. A great bunch of people! G-D bless them. We haven't heard the last of the muzzies, though. "The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance." Indeed.

It was a great ride and an awesome sound..

D.C. Police estimate over 1 million bikers roar into Washington D.C., hardly a Muslim in sight It was originally billed as “The Million Muslim March,” though organizers later revised it to the “Million American March Against Fear.” But at noon today in the nation’s capital, there weren’t a million Muslims or ‘fearful’ Americans to be found anywhere – not even close – more like 25 – 200 according to new reports. After destroying [looting]and ransacking a Syrian church, a U.S.-supported jihadi poses to mock Christianity. http://www.raymondibrahim.com/muslim-persecution-of-christians/has-syria-got-a-prayer-attacks-on-christian-churches-near-damascus/ I'm soooo tired of their whining.

Someone mentioned that they could have formed the second largest army in the world.

There’s lots of us.

Statistics say that for every one that showed up, 200 didn’t.

Food for thought.

As one of the “200” I spent a good part of my day at the range.

Then I spent a few hours reviewing the biography of Charles Martell.

Why on EARTH don't the stories begin: "Tens of thousands of bikers descended on DC" or "Hundreds of thousands of bikers descended on DC" -- if the 880,000 number is correct, either header would be correct, and there is CERTAINLY room for the extra words in the first sentence. Instead, just saying "thousands of bikers" sounds like, "so what?" But it wasn't "thousands," it was HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS.

*sigh* Even NewsMax doesn't get it.
