'The remarkable story of the first victim of the September 11 terrorist attacks has been revealed for the first time in a new biography.
Internet entrepreneur Danny Lewin was 31-years-old when he was killed on American Airlines Flight 11 as he fought to stop hijackers from taking over the plane.'

Wow, I did not know that!!! A Minute Man in the finest tradition of the term. As were the Flight 93 passengers soon thereafter. May he Rest In Peace.
He’s not a victim. He’s a warrior who gave his life in service to his country.
The lingo is that its a tragedy and they’re victims and everyone was a hero.
Not a travesty in which se were Heroes and fallen warriors and so on.
This way there’s no enemy, you know how this works. We don’t want o insult the wrong people
Isn't great to have Free Press, even if it is England.
“...We dont want o insult the wrong people...”
Personally... got no problem insulting both those who’s very existence is an insult to liberty, and those who would protect and coddle them.
If we want our country back, the gloves need to come off.
Thanks for the ping. I did not know this story I was aware of his outfit and they are a interesting unit.
Back ground on his unit.
Sayeret Matkal, also known as General Staff Reconnaissance Unit 269, is the unit most people are referring to when discussing the Israeli war against terrorism. Operatives from this unit have led, or been an instrumental part of, almost every notable counterterrorist (and antiterrorist) operation conducted on behalf of Israel from 1957 to the present. It is also the primary unit dedicated to hostage rescue missions within Israel. Sayeret Matkal has been assisted on occasion by other Israeli units such as the elite Sayeret Tzanhanim, Flotilla 13, and Sayeret Golani. During periods of war, this unit is tasked with the most risky intelligence gathering operations, a function it has reportedly accomplished successfully on numerous occasions
This hero’s story has been suppressed, it seems.
by himself. Weren't there any men on that plane?
Check out the pictures to see who is NOT saluting while the National Anthem was being played.
But he wiped a tear for the optic.
Great catch !!!
But he wiped a tear for the optic.
Danny Lewin, hero at age 31.
Clown, pretending to teach at age 31...yearning to be a community agitator.
Ask yourself: who has done more to reflect the greatness of America and for freedom?
“Isn’t great to have Free Press, even if it is England.”
Right. If it wasn’t for England, Canada, and Israel we would be getting all propaganda.
I understand even FOX failed to cover the bikers in DC, and their permit denial while the muslams got a permit in short order. This is one of the more important and relevant stories of our day, as it directly affects our right to petition the government and peacefully protest.
Have no fear...the Patriot Riders of 9-11-13 have done a fine job, and the videos have gone viral.
Next year, the Patriot Riders will include pickup trucks! And I suspect the 1,000,000+ that turned up in various places in DC (the traffic cams were conveniently out, either to so many hits or a deliberate black-out) and I suspect in 2014, it will NOT be able to be ignored. Period. There aren’t enough police in the DC area to stop it, and Zero has made sure all our ground troops, including National Guard, are otherwise occupied. Who is going to stop the Ride For Freedom?
Pass the word...FR has a good thread here which you can send to all you know and ask them to re-send it...http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3065144/posts
He had no tears. He was sweating.
I had never heard Danny Lewin’s story before this. Thank you for posting it.
Heroes need to be recognised.
Too bad some other passengers did not help him.(If they did the article doesn’t say it). That was the best chance to stop the terrorists and prevent their own deaths.
That guy in the back. Rumored to be a British/kenyan.
Fox News has a pretty big arab ownership now.
IIRC, the first FDNY casualty was not in the towers, but was a FDNY Chaplin who took off his helmet to pray for a victim and was stuck by debris and killed.
Most of them had been told all their lives not to fight back - talking and good dialogue ends all violence; don't get involved; be more sensitive
Check out Rick Rescorla’s story, too. Unsung hero who served in the US Army 1st Cavalry Division in RVN and served his company, Morgan-Stanley, sacrificing himself in the effort.
Well sure it has...
I mean, the left immediately started destroying whatever unity we had post 9-11-01 about a week after the incident.
The last thing in the world they want is for Americans to remember who they are, who are ancestors were, and why we’re here...
His story I had heard, but thank you for that reminder. What an extraordinary man.
