Arutz Sheva says this is according to Kuwaiti news so don't know if this is just propaganda for the ME allies.

Obama’s interest in invading non-enemy Syria has nothing to do with Syria, poison gas, or children.

Obama’s interest in bombing non-enemy Syria has everything to do with creating a long-lasting, controversial, DISTRACTION for Congress in order to keep Congress from defunding Obama”care”/Boehnerkare.

Obama’s “Red Herring” for the 9-11 Benghazi Massacre Coverup was Susan Rice’s fake Video story.

Obama’s “Red Herring” for distracting Congress until Obama”care”/ Boehnerkare kicks in October 1 is Obama’s “Crossing HIS personal Red Line” distraction speech.

Obama speaks only for Obama, not the US Federal Government or America.

REMEMBER BENGHAZI !

AFAIK, Alawi are about as Muslim as Mormons or Jehova Witnesses are Christian.

Obama has been made internationally irrelevant, at least over Syria. The Russians and Syrians can go their merry way, “controlling Syria's chemical weapons”, and ignore Obama. Can Obama strike Syria or even expect Assad to step down when Russia and Syria announce progress to the world?

Obama Insists: Assad must Step Down

Or what? Putin has neutered Obama on the world stage and now Iran is openly flaunting its nuke program and N. Korea is firing up it's nuclear plants to make more weapons grade material. What was once simply suspicion that Obama is weak and incompetent on foreign matters is now confirmed and countries which once toed the line out of fear are now free to act as they wish, or rather as the Russians and Chinese will allow.

Vice President Joe Biden eagerly counts the minutes until his inauguration as America's 45th President after Obama's resignation:

I just heard on Fox that Assad is willing to sign the ‘no chemical weapons’ agreement soon. So if this is true that Obama wants Assad to step down it sounds as though he is being ignored. Since this is reported in Kuwait it may just be catering to those that want Assad out.

Problem is that if Assad just steps down with terrorist now being the opposition, then you would be turning the dictatorship over to a new Radical Islamic regime.

Good luck with that.

Probably. And probably why that gambit is on the table. Assad will never go unless he's carried out toes up.

If not Assad, who? The country would fall into total civil war.
