Maybe they should pass a law protecting floods like what happened last night.
“Maybe they should pass a law protecting floods like what happened last night.”
Indeed. I think it’s brutal to Boulder Creek to hem it in with walls so that it cannot expand to its natural, Gaia created boundaries during a flood. How dare humans interfere with nature.
Tonight, God willing, I pray those walls will hold up and the torrent of water coming down the canyon will not wipe out about 1/5 of the city of Boulder, along with the butterflies, fish, deer, trees, and wildflowers that it is ripping to shreds at this moment.
If that young lady’s home is preserved tonight—and I hope it is—she will blissfully continue in her ignorance that man controlling and modifying nature is what saved her home and a whole bunch of trees and other stuff she actually likes.
