A few decades ago when I got my first concealed carry permit in Alabama, the county where I got it made each holder a reserve deputy on a list when issued. Got a call one time in all those years ... a major interstate accident involving rockets headed to a military fort where tank maneuvers happened had all personnel occupied and reserves were called up to drive the streets for routine peace keeping duties. The night was uneventful, but long.

Any right thinking Sheriff knows that when the - - - - hits the fan, they can count on the law-abiding citizens to provide the additional fire power that may be needed. And they know we will working right alongside them as needed to protect our constitutional rights

I just sent Sheriff Desmond a letter stating just that.

Once in America if a thing became law it had to be enforced. An individuals personal convictions couldn't enter into it. Now elites pick and choose what law is law and then which laws they will enforce.

Now enter these Sheriffs (with whom I agree)telling the Governor that they don't intend to enforce "the law" (a law passed, if I recall, without the REQUIRED time and discussion). When the law slips civilization slips.
