BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia teen convicted of fatally shooting a baby in a stroller was sentenced Thursday to spend the rest of his life in prison with no chance of parole after the grieving mother asked a judge to punish the gunman for taking "the love of my life."
De'Marquise Elkins, 18, stood silent and showed no emotion as he was sentenced in a courtroom less than two weeks after a jury found him guilty of murder in the slaying of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago during a robbery attempt.

New Jersey had first choice.
He’s gonna wish he was that baby in the stroller after his fellow prisoners are done with him. He won’t last long in prison.
We have raised up generations of uncivilized barbarians and savages.
This whole family is messed up. His mother was convicted of evidence tampering for helping dispose of the gun.
His sister and aunt are facing charges as they were helping him avoid prosecution.
Do any of these people have any moral compass at all, or are they just savages???
I may get banned for this, because it violates political corretness given the race of the criminal. But this is where we are with ghetto culture. Life means nothing to these people. Yet we are supposed to feel sorry for the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow laws, according to liberals.

Maybe his baby and unarmed mom handling experience will help him handle his fellow inmates.

I think there should be a closed circuit camera in his cell that the family can turn on at any time and then mock and ridicule him at any moment...... making life in prison a very very long time.

I think “civilians” is not a good choice of words. There are many “civilians” who would take this punk out.
