Keeping everyone in Colorado in my thoughts and prayers. Our town of Comanche OK has had a couple of experiences with being evacuated due to flooding from Cow Creek in my lifetime.

Dam breaching...fears it might give way:

Concerns over a dam collapsing in Weld County’s Latham Reservoir could force the entire town of Kersey to evacuate.

Weld County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Reams said Friday that residents in Kersey are being asked to start preparing for a possible evacuation. More than 1,400 people live in Kersey, about six miles east of Greeley, according to U.S. Census figures.
