There is no good side to the Syrian conflict anywhere you look. Assad is no good. Putin is no good. The Syrian rebels are no good. Iran is no good. As Sarah said let them fight among themselves and let Allah sort it out.
...and that is exactly the problem. Just as the community organizer/agitator had absolutely no concept of the consequences of his bluster, threats and ultimatums, so too will he fail to foresee the consequences of military actions taken for the sole purpose of protecting his "rep"
Putin is a man who can say what he thinks unfettered by political correctness. In our world, that is powerful.
Dr. Nefarious loses again.
You are EXACTLY right.
This is all about Western European IMF banking and Western European petro energy supply and sources. It's about undercutting Russian sales and bolstering Saudi group sales while running all the money through Western European banking, and using the US military as a bully to force Russia to allow it.
I guess the NYTrash has to toss this wrong statement in. Since when do we get to "spank" other nations for staying out after midnight?
Russia is busily amassing power in the area and now making demands on our policies towards Iran's Nuke program. Zero is so much worse than Carter on the international front that they have to develop an even newer math to be able to calculate the difference.
I like your discourse as to my comments on the Syrian situation. You were probably more succinct as to the big picture. I also think Russia has just completed a ‘make one give all-make all give all’ scenario. As for me there will be no honesty or integrity as to any party to the dealing if such is not the case. I was in WWII and my brother was killed on Okinawa so I believe I know a good war cause as to a bad one. Kerry’s 3 months or so at war with self inflicted/promoted Purple Heart wounds in Viet Nam doesn’t pass the smell test for historical reference..
I guess we can’t in good conscience call the French “surrender monkeys” anymore.
Because that name now rightfully belongs to the president.
There are wars that must be fought, however, all wars are economic in purpose.
Whenever "humanitarian purposes" are presented, it is a distraction to conceal the economic purposes that the intended sucker would not approve of or support.
Indeed, Kerry hasn't passed the smell test since his first assignment in Vietnam.
US (under Obama) won't even try to be a world superpower.
The US will talk tough and cower into the corner hoping the current crisis will pass.
The US will give up it's power, prestige and influence in the world.
The US will willingly surrender it's autonomy around the world the the USSR.
The US won't lift a finger to help anybody anymore.
The US will no longer be the “Shining city on the Hill”.
The US will capitulate.
The US will kind of stand up for, er, uh...something or principle.
The US will voluntarily relegate itself to a 4th rate, paper tiger nation.
The US will be out golfing.
The US will not attack Iran no matter what.
The US under Obama is a has been nation...
You certainly can put us all right.
I salute you Sir and your late brother with a heartfelt thank you for your sacrifices.
My late father, served as a radar man in the USAAF and we grew up with a different set of values than what is being shown today.
A simple Patriotism is what fueled us.
Yours truly is the “Greatest Generation”.
Well, I get to thank you and apologize all at once. How frustratingly embarrassing!
