The US will drop its insistence that a UN resolution on Syria must be backed by military force, officials say, after strong objections from Russia.

US and Russian diplomats say the two sides are edging closer to a deal on Syria's chemical arsenal, as talks in Geneva enter a third day.

They are thrashing out the technical details of the disarmament process.

Obama has been rolled by Putin. See how easy it is?

Is there anybody out there in GOP Land taking notes? Why is it the GOP is allowing itself to be rolled over and over again by this weakfish?

Maybe it's because Putin isn't afraid of being called a racist and is putting his country first?

LOL, comedy central at the white house again I see.

The great community organizer can’t organize a piss up in a brewery and still there are dopes out there defending him, either based on colour or because they’re stuck on stupid.

This whole administration has been a joke from day one .

Last I looked Russia was not being invaded by tens of millions illegally, like the millions do entering the U.S. illegally, all of whom had total disrespect for our rules, laws or sovereignty...

Ya think Russia would put up with that epic lawlessness?

It stuns me how little was said about the one year anniversary of the killing of our Ambassador in Syria, the phony video story, the deaths of our brave men and the utter incompetence, negligence and possibly criminal activity of the administration in regard to Benghazi.

It is almost like this whole Syria crises was cooked up to give the media something else to focus on during the one year anniversary.

If that is the case, it was a lot more successful (although more dangerous) than the phony video story. Congratulations to the Obama regime for carrying out a successful diversion.

Congratulations to the Obama regime for carrying out a successful diversion.

Yes. And, when's the last time anyone heard anything about the spending, the debt, the budget, and on and on.

Russia does not have gay pride marches in their army.

and there isn't a revolving door at the kremlin for the muzzie brotherhood like they have at the white house.

Obama is currently negotiating with Putin the terms for the removal of the chemical arms from Syria. These negotiations entail the removal to be conducted and overseen by Russia/Putin, Assad’s main supporter and must trusted ally!

In order for Assad to agree to this plan, he has demanded that Obama promise that the US will not attack the genocidal Syrian regime, under any circumstances. These terms will leave Assad free to continue his butchering of innocent men, women, and children.

Once agreed upon, these negotiations would also result in Putin gaining the control over the Middle East’s future, essentially eliminating the central role of the US in that vital area of the world since the 1970’s.

To throw salt in the wound, Putin has also promised to further increase the shipment of conventional arms to Syria and Iran in an effort to secure the stability of those regimes; which would in turn make him a strong candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize. (Let’s just ignore the fact that 1,400 innocent civilians were murdered by chemical arms; while more than 100,000 innocents were murdered by conventional arms.)

Putin will exchange the chemical arms with Assad for an unlimited supply of conventional arms. In addition, Putin has also sent the Russian navy to protect Syria from any possible US attacks. We must all keep in mind the fact that the war in Syria is being waged between two evils. In one side we have Assad, Iran and Russia, and in the rebel’s side, Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood and Obama. The US should have never gotten involved in the Syrian civil war.

Again, in the most egregious Orwellian fashion, the American Secretary of State thanks Putin for taking over the leadership in the Middle East after displacing the United States. Meanwhile, the American media will laud Obama’s Syrian debacle as a great victory for peace. Perhaps he will receive another Nobel Peace Prize, and this time it will be shared with Putin.

.....and Russia’s government has a fond regard for their Orthodox Church as it recognizes the necessity for a church-going citizenry.
