I’d hit it.

Do you think her girlfriend, Big Bertha the biker, would let you?

It appears Georgia freepers no longer admire "conservative" (except for being pro-abortion, pro-illegal alien, gun grabbing, etc., etc., etc.) Democrat Sam Nunn.

Fortunately, I don't need to "lose a lot of respect" for liberal RAT politicians like Mike Madigan and Paul Simon when their daughters run for office, since I never respected them to begin with.

Sam Nunn was actually fairly conservative for a Democrat - - he was an “old-fashioned” Democrat - - who pushed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” as an answer to Clinton and his fellow rats’ mumblings about flinging open the military’s doors to faggots back in the early ‘90s. So, I wonder where Michelle stands on the various faggot issues such as gay “marriage” and the sodomization of the once-proud US military?

You’re a simple butt-wipe with a reading comprehension problem if you think my post in any way praises that scumbag Sam Nunn.
Beat it.

He wasn’t “fairly conservative for a democrat”. He’s a liar who pretended to be to get morons to vote for him.

He was “old fashioned” in the sense that democrats have been doing that for over 100 years.

Darn. I was hoping Georgia freepers finally figured out this guy was never conservative to begin with, especially with his far-left socialist daughter getting help from the likes of Howard Dean. It's little surprise Georgia is more RAT friendly than its neighboring states. I've heard conservative freepers praise Zig Zag, Nunn, Barnes, Maddox, Talmadge, etc., etc. Some seem to actually prefer RATs who vote conservative 20% of the time than "RINOs" who vote conservative 80% of the time.

Post #13 gave the best explanation of why the media convinced everyone we should "respect" Nunn: "For some ungodly reason, Nunn was touted as national defense expert and foreign policy wonk wrt Russia. From what I saw back then, he was just living on a trumped up reputation, like Barack Hussein is now. I think he survived and thrived then because he survived the Herman Talmadge "Bountiful Overcoat" scandals".

Reminds me somewhat of Mark Kirk. Another backstabbing liberal traitor that inexplicably has conservative supporters, because the mainstream continually touts Kirk as some kind of heroic patriotic military man who protects our nation and is wise sage on foreign policy (nevermind that Kirk has voted the wrong way on every major foreign policy issue of the last decade... yeah, Mark, the surge in Iraq will never work... we must withdraw now.. blah blah blah)

Could be worse, I suppose. You still have freepers that admire LIEberman after all these years. Now that's the ultimate stupid thing for conservatives to do.

He wasn’t “fairly conservative for a democrat”.

Actually, yes he was. For example, in 1994 he had an ACU rating higher than any Democrat senator except for Robert Byrd, and higher than a couple of "Republican" senators (Hatfield and Chafee). So yeah, that made him conservative... for a Democrat. And yeah, he was a strong force in passing DADT. I don't know how old you are, but I hope you're okay with facts and stuff.

The point of my post was that his daughter needs to be asked questions about her stand on faggot issues, not to "praise" her scumbag father. Please don't jump to conclusions and then act like a troll. I've seen you post better.

I think Nunn's moderate voting record was a ruse to get votes but I see what you're saying. He wasn't a frothing moonbat like most rats just a garden variety DC swine like Byrd, Hatfield and Chafee.

My bad Lancey, I guess I jumped in without looking. I tend to be hyper-vigilant when it comes to certain things like the breed of freeper given to have a false sense of history when it comes to Southern democrats.

G’night.

That RAT-friendly moniker you give us is because Georgia has a large metropolitan black population that pretty much controls all the large urban areas. Transplants from all over the south and a lot from up north.

On a State level, statewide elected officials are all Republican now IIRC. Sure, we suffered under Democrat Governors for over 100 years straight, right up until 2000 when we broke those chains.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Governors_of_Georgia

We finally realized that the old line Democrats who could still manage a state transitioned into the likes of Jimmy Carter and Roy Barnes (a slimy effing weasel if there ever was one).

Even looking back on Zell Miller and while I disliked him immensely at the time, he ran the state well and he wasn't an ideologue out to fulfill the national DNC mantra like so many other governors are now. He may be an old style Democrat, but he is an honorable and honest man.

In retrospect though, yep, Georgia may have been RAT-friendly, but we came to our senses. Large majority R representation in the HOUSE and both SENATORS are R (even if they are backstabbing RINOS which we are going to fix 2016 with Isakson and in 2014 with Chambliss' replacementsd). At least it's more than you can say for some of our other states to the north.

Also the immigration issue will be a big deal. The statehouse has passed good immigration measures.

John Barrow (D) is the right of most Senate Republicans on the issue. He even tweeted support of Jeff Sessions.

Broun connects it instantly to creating millions of democrats who dont care about the constitution.
