Obama Falls Right Into Putin's Trap (Moscow Times)
The Moscow Times ^ | Sept 12, 2013 | Michael Bohm

Posted on 09/14/2013 6:46:54 AM PDT by Innovative

President Vladimir Putin loves to set traps for U.S. President Barack Obama. The only thing Putin loves even more is when Obama falls smack into one.

Trap No. 1. Putin set his latest trap Monday with a seemingly attractive proposal to have international monitors identify and destroy Syrian President Bashar Assad's vast stockpile of chemical weapons.

If Obama falls for this one, he and international monitors will be jumping through hoops for years

The only question is why was Obama also smiling when he met Putin in St. Petersburg. Regardless of which trap Obama falls into, the last smile and laugh will be Putin's.

“Putin has a file on Obama thicker than the metro NYC phone book.”

The psychological evaluation alone would enable Putin to humiliate Obama virtually at will.

I think it already has, my friend.

Putin has cashed in all his chips in assessing America ripe for the taking. Strong-willed, arrogant opportunists like Putin have an intuitive ability to detect hapless losers such as Obama, with an inherent revulsion, disdain for those they perceive as being weak. Putin hates Obama for many reasons not the least of which is the abject loathing and revulsion of Zero as the vacuous, emasculated, pusillanimous empty suit that he is in making the most of gaining the upper hand to Russia’s benefit at the very high cost of American power, prestige.

It is no-brainer to realize most of Putin’s geopolitical victories, rise to master global chess-player would never have come to fruition had there been even ‘Elsie, the Cow’ as leader of our now beleagured nation.

Vladimir Putin isn’t the only one whose stature has risen enormously under the Obama regime.

Without Barky in the Oval Orifice, Supreme Diesel Kagan would be a nobody. At least Summers can say that, without Barky, he'd still be getting thrown out of Harvard faculty lounges.

Remember the time in 2009 when Bozo and Putin met for the first time in Russia, and all the Russians refused Bozo's hand?

They knew where it had been.

You make a joke, but what a great way to upset a narcissist. Refuse to shake the “great man’s” hand.

Re post 17.

Again with the facts! Why are you dwelling on the facts? What difference does it make?

Obama is currently negotiating with Putin the terms for the removal of the chemical arms from Syria. These negotiations entail the removal to be conducted and overseen by Russia/Putin, Assad’s main supporter and must trusted ally!

In order for Assad to agree to this plan, he has demanded that Obama promise that the US will not attack the genocidal Syrian regime, under any circumstances. These terms will leave Assad free to continue his butchering of innocent men, women, and children.

Once agreed upon, these negotiations would also result in Putin gaining the control over the Middle East’s future, essentially eliminating the central role of the US in that vital area of the world since the 1970’s.

To throw salt in the wound, Putin has also promised to further increase the shipment of conventional arms to Syria and Iran in an effort to secure the stability of those regimes; which would in turn make him a strong candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize. (Let’s just ignore the fact that 1,400 innocent civilians were murdered by chemical arms; while more than 100,000 innocents were murdered by conventional arms.)

Putin will exchange the chemical arms with Assad for an unlimited supply of conventional arms. In addition, Putin has also sent the Russian navy to protect Syria from any possible US attacks. We must all keep in mind the fact that the war in Syria is being waged between two evils. In one side we have Assad, Iran and Russia, and in the rebel’s side, Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood and Obama. The US should have never gotten involved in the Syrian civil war.

Again, in the most egregious Orwellian fashion, the American Secretary of State thanks Putin for taking over the leadership in the Middle East after displacing the United States. Meanwhile, the American media will laud Obama’s Syrian debacle as a great victory for peace. Perhaps he will receive another Nobel Peace Prize, and this time it will be shared with Putin.

Obama said in his book that “I will stand with the Muslims if the political winds shift in an ugly direction”!!!....hell there may even be an Audio Book with him SAYING it! I think it’s page 230 something in his book “The Audacity of Hope”. Thanks for the reminder.....all Freepers should put that quote on every thread!!

Great observation. Putin doesn’t jump the shark, he makes the shark jump, and rides them.
