If the GOPe had any sense of Patriotism, they would get behind the Conservatives for 2014.

“If the GOPe had any sense of Patriotism, they would get behind the Conservatives for 2014.”

I have felt for a long time that the absence of Patriotism in elected politicians is the key element that has changed in our Politicians.

Gone are the days when Democrats would rise above party idealism and take a stand for what is right with America.

Am thinking of the likes of Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman.

Reagan was so liked as he exuded patriotism and not only talked about it, but acted it.

This quality, epitomized by George Washington who refused to be king and instead embraced the foundation of a nation ruled by citizens.

If we could return to electing people who had other than self interests as a priority, we would return to glory.

The 'pubbies will get behind conservatives alright.

With pitchforks in hand.

They dislike democrats but reserve their real hate for conservatives.
