I am just so thrilled that having our service men blown away in Afghanistan help the Chinese money grubbers get a pipeline.................NOT
U.S. diplomats said no to doing anything in Turkmenistan, because there are no palacious accommodations for hordes of rich, old government chicks and weirdos there.
Folks in Turkmenistan begged our U.S. “leaders” several years ago to make deals on oil production there, too. On top of that, it was another potential military route into Afghanistan without needing to suck up to Pakistan.
Bipartisan, influential, socialist political constituents controlling the politicians have nothing to complain at others about. There’s no one else to blame for Iran continuing to produce and mount nukes, either (see screams from politicos against doing anything about Iran). The figurehead, speech-making politicians are servants of the socialist political/regulator class (mostly supported by government debt) and have no real say in those matters.
