A 46-year-old college English professor died Saturday from an apparently unprovoked and random stabbing that also severely injured his 30-year-old partner after the pair left a Sounders game Friday night.
Troy Wolff, chair of the English department at Shoreline Community College and a resident of the Beacon Hill neighborhood, died from multiple stab wounds.
His partner, Kristin Ito, who was also stabbed repeatedly, was in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center late Saturday afternoon.
The alleged attacker, a 44-year-old man, was arrested Friday and taken to King County Jail. On Saturday, he was booked for investigation of murder...

The fact that they do not identify the suspect or show him tells me all I need to know. Or am I wrong?

I think this murderer was a white guy. The thing that I find sad is that he had time to hack at his victims with a small knife without an armed law-abiding citizen around to intervene.

He was booked Saturday and is in jail, but there seems to be a blackout on the murderer’s identity.
Oh, you'll know just by the way the media runs with the story...or burys is altogether.

Locally, there have been no full face photos published that I've seen.
At the scene, side photos show he has dark skin, and rear shot photos show short, very curly, dark hair.
He's under Psych Evaluation, so they might have special rules on publishing pictures.
Still, hard not to notice that the perp chose a middle aged white guy and his half Asian girlfriend for murder.
There are plenty of Black people in that area he chose NOT to attack.
And why would the media sanitize that from their reports?
Was it possible that they perp was saying, “This is for Trayvon!”?
We need legislation banning all knives except those with plastic blades.
I found that also, those professional photographers couldn’t get a photo of his face for some reason, but it does look like a black on white attack.
He is arrested, booked, in jail, the brother has already forgiven him, we already know that the motive was just random and nothing else, we know how old the killer is, but not his name or what he looks like, or even his race for sure.
I guess we don’t really need much else, they can either just sentence him now or release him, the story seems to be over and it is time to move along as far as the journalists are concerned, they have told us enough.
This is one of those stories that seems kind of vague and dreamy, like we live in an Opium cloud, something happened, but let’s move away from this unpleasantness.
