Police say four people and one officer have been shot at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday morning.
Police are looking for the shooter. He is described as a black male with a dark complexion, approximately 5'10" to 6 feet tall, 170 pound with a black shirt and black hat, according to CBS affiliate WUSA. He is believed to be barricaded somewhere and have multiple guns.

Remember Washington DC has VERY STRICT GUN CONTROL LAWS that make it very hard for honest citizens to possess guns for self defense. Of course these laws are not obeyed by the criminal element, which is very well armed.
Also DoD employees are forbidden to carry personally owned weapons onto military posts/bases/stations/forts in the DC area.

An active shooter was reported inside the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters building (Building 197) on the Washington Navy Yard at 8:20 a.m. (Eastern Time) today, Monday, Sept. 16.
Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, to include Fort Myer, Henderson Hall and Fort McNair are not on lock-down.
Some navy guy prolly wrote n*gger on his receipt.
I wonder if perhaps he’s a Somali or some other kind of Muslim African. Africans are generally darker than American black people because they usually don’t have any other racial mixture.
