Checking for ID’s is more secure than just waving vehicles with DoD decals through the gate. This matches the occupant(s) to the proferred ID, not a car which can be borrowed or stolen. The security folks (AF and contractor) where I work actually take the ID from me, look at me, look at the ID and studiously compare the 2.
In addition, there are other means used to verify the ID’s, so one can’t just get “waved through” by having a decal or flashing an ID like in the past.
At the installation I work at, they do random vehicle searches, no rhyme or reason, as it should be. You just never know when it’s “your turn”.

That’s my best guess. There’s a 95% chance he voted for Obama.

(BEIRUT) — Al Qaeda failed to make good on threats to strike U.S. diplomatic outposts on this week’s 9/11 anniversary, but in a new audio tape, the leader of the besieged terror network renewed his plea to followers to strike at American interests — and to aim lower, if necessary, with individual acts of violence.

In the new Arabic-language tape, released Sept. 12 Zawahiri chortled over the “blessed” 2001 strikes that left thousands of Americans dead, as well as April’s Boston Marathon bombings that killed just three Americans, which he claimed was proof of a Muslim “uprising.”
“Keeping America in tension and anticipation only costs a few disparate attacks here and there,” Zawahiri explained during his 72-minute recording. “These disparate strikes can be done by one brother or a few of the brothers.”

I’m shocked a moslem would commit violence. They’re usually so ‘peaceful.’
This particular (likely) moslem convert had PERFECT timing.
He strikes on Monday, at the start of this week’s news cycle, changing the MSM subject from “Wow, we gotta admit Obama sucks after this Putin disaster” back to “Gee shouldn’t we grab all the guns from Americans” (while shipping guns to AL QAEDA).
Just heard on NBC5, local affiliate for Dallas, that Alexis was upset that a contractor was slow to pay him for work he performed in Japan. Also, that he was easy going usually but was given to secluding himself away alone in room playing violent video games. Lastly he had an ongoing feud with neighbor below about her noise(who among us?), and his gun “accidentally” with off with bullet narrowly missing the neighbor below. Oh and he was said to be suffering from PTSD by some accounts.
He was a Buddhist with anger issues.
FNC just said he was a Buddhist.

Plus also southern Thailand I have heard has had problems with its Muslims.
