Comment on Obama’s Political Reset Behind Summer’s Withdrawal from Fed Chairman Position
Today, as we note below, Obama delivered a Rose Garden Speech
on the anniversary of the 2008 Financial Crisis...Summer’s close
connection to Wall Street isn’t consistent with Obama’s new narrative
to change the headlines away from Syria as soon as possible.
It has been our view that Obama intentionally instigated the Syrian
Chemical Attack threat with the assumption that the controversy would
last long enough to ‘cloud’ the debate over sequestration debt ceiling
and the budget...and force the Republicans to surrender with American
Forces at War
Thanks to shrewd Russian Political Strategy, Obama was forced to
withdraw his threat to attack and he needed a new media narrative to
deal with domestic politics...
So, he is resetting policy to deal with Budget et al by attempting to
reignite his original attack against the “top 1%” who have been
advantaged the last 5 years, along with other beneficiaries such as
the major financial institutions...
And to blame the Republicans for whatever comes out of the legislative talks...
It has also been our belief, supported by actual weak employment
treasury data, that the labor dept has set politically correct
employment headlines of STRONGER employment.
This tactic would set the stage for Congressional Democrats to run
against the Republicans in the mid terms on the staged issue of
Jobs...with jobs being overstated NOW so they will be weaker a year
from now...
Obama plan is to blame next years staged economic weakness on the
unwillingness of Republicans to agree with his budget, enforcing
sequestration and a tough debt ceiling....

John Boehner is Under Federal Investigation for Campaign Finance Violations

The FEC has announced that they are investigating Speaker of the House
John Boehner for accepting dozens of illegal donations from the coal,
energy, and gambling industries.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
The Federal Election Commission is examining whether dozens of
political action committees and individuals contributed more than the
legally allowed amount to House Speaker John Boehner during last
year’s election cycle.
Letters the Federal Election Committee sent Monday to Friends of John
Boehner indicated that donors including coal, energy, and gambling
interests, exceeded contribution limits to Boehner’s committee by more
than $150,000.
