Yes it’s only 2013, but the race for the Republican Presidential prospects for 2016 is alive and well, and this early on the two at the top in New Hampshire are Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) and New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie, according to a new Public Policy Polling (PPP) survey released Wednesday.

According to the poll, Paul and Christie are neck-and-neck in the Granite State garnering 20% and 19% of the vote, respectively.

Following the top two are Jeb Bush (14%), 12% for Kelly Ayotte, 10% for Ted Cruz, 7% for Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan, 3% for Bobby Jindal, and 2% for Rick Santorum.

The fact that I belong to a party -- have contributed to a party, have volunteered many hours for a party -- in which Chris Crispycreme is a front runner, and a man who has just pinned a medal on Hillary Clinton is not far behind, is depressing enough to send me off to bed.

This is among the many reasons why the Republican Party is in trouble. People vote for the names they recognize — the ones with the most tv face time. And the ones who get the most face time do so because of the collusion between the GOP elitists and the media. People really have no idea who or what they are voting for. For the most part, the ones you see on tv most often are hardly conservative. The few conservatives who do make the news are portrayed as radical extremists.

Get back to us when Rand Paul drops his Amnesty Proposal:

Here are the links, from this year, where Rand Paul clearly lays out his own Amnesty plan for 2 million illegals per year, based on a "Certification" from a Pro-Amnesty congress that the border is "secure". No Fence, No E-Verify, No punishments for ID Fraud, and all the other misdemeanors and felonies committed by the Undocumented Democrats he wants to pardon.

That is an ideology, my FRiend, whether you claim to have one or not.

Judge Napolitano talks about the appeal & future of libertarianism

As the Republican and Democratic parties continue to fail the American people, Judge Napolitano explained why libertarian ideals have the power to appeal to both sides of the political spectrum. Small government, personal responsibility, and individual liberty is not partisan – its principle.

Governor Sarah Palin, Senator Ted Cruz or any other Actual conservative. Rand Paul, with his Amnesty proposal, doesn’t qualify.

If Rand Paul soundly renounces his Amnesty proposal and goes back to his original close the border position with no Amnesty, then Rand Paul becomes my #3 choice.

From another thread

"The deport them all people would be wise to realize (like it or not) the USA is not going to forcibly remove 25 to 30 million illegals. That is just not going to happen. I don't like sad fact either, but being a realist I have to accept that mass deportation is off the table. Paul knows this and Cruz knows it too. So what now? Protect the border, protect the vote and no new pathway to citizenship which is exactly what Paul was proposing. "

Cruz

"The amendment that I introduced removed the path to citizenship, but it did not change the underlying work permit from the Gang of Eight,” he said during a recent visit to El Paso. Mr. Cruz also noted that he had not called for deportation or, as Mitt Romney famously advocated, self-deportation."<\i>

Palin also does not support mass deportations and never has.

Palin also does not support mass deportations and never has.

And yet that does not equate to Rand Paul's Amnesty Plan now does it?

Primarily because Governor Palin has stated very publically that the complete fence needs to be built and has never come out against E-Verify. Whereas Rand Paul has stated unequivocally that he is against the use of E-Verify as a solution and nowhere has stated he wants a Fence, but is instead relying on the false, lying "Secure Border" certification by a congress that is comprised of 50% Open-Border Democrats and 25% Open-Border Republicans.

What is it with Rand Paul supporters that they try to wrap themselves in an Apple/Oranges comparison of Rand Paul and Governor Palin instead of admitting that their guy from a conservative perspective, is completely wrong on this issue?

Or are you really a big 'L' Libertarian and are just hunky-dory with Open Borders?

This is where the rubber

Cruz and Paul’s position on illegals is identical. Dido Palin.

That is a flat-out lie.

Senator Cruz as emphatically stated he is against granting Amnesty to Illegals. Rand Paul, on the other hand, has put forth an Amnesty plan that "Normalizes" or grants legality (Amnesty) to 2 million Illegal Aliens (Undocumented Democrats) based on a "Certification" of congress that the border is secure. Mind you, Rand Paul, and everyone else knows, that each and every Democrat in Congress (50%) is a rabid Open-Borders shill and already thinks the Border is secure, and there are an additional 25% of the GOP that he can count on as well, to state that the border is secure.

"nowhere has stated he wants a Fence

Why do you continue to lie, lie, lie about Paul's positions?

"The Senate on Wednesday voted 61–37 to table an amendment to the immigration-reform bill that would have significantly strengthened the bill’s border-security and enforcement requirements. The so-called Trust but Verify amendment, offered by Senator Rand Paul (R., Ky.), would have given Congress, and not the Department of Homeland Security, the ultimate authority to determine if the border is effectively secure. It also included enhanced security measures, such as requiring a double-layer fence to be completed within five years, as well as a number of other triggers that must be implemented before illegal immigrants could be awarded legal status. “We desperately need immigration reform—but part of fixing the system is fixing our broken borders,” Paul said before the vote.

no you are flat out lying, both Paul and Cruz would grant work visas (legal status) to qualifying illegals, Palin would too. Do some research before you embarrass your self more then you already have.

Here I will help you out with your research beginning at 3:40 Cruz himself says he would grant legal status to illegals. I like Ted Cruz, I would be very happy to support him for POTUS, but I really dislike people lying about another very good conservative Rand Paul. Stop the lies!
