You have hit on why the Repubs lose all the time ... they are defensive and react rather than going on the offensive and taking off the boxing gloves (the Dems are masters at this) while doing it. Cruz, Lee, etc. are bare knucklers ..... and I respect them for it and support them.
Good on you. We will not win this fight by sitting back and complaining about how hard it will be.
