State Representative Joe Carr, Senator Lamar Alexander's (R-TN) Tea Party backed challenger in the 2014 Tennessee Republican Senate primary, blasted Alexander today for his refusal to stand with Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and defund Obamacare.
"Senator Lamar Alexander has refused to join Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to defund Obamacare claiming it would cause a government shutdown. Although Senator Lamar Alexander agrees with Obama on this point, it is false," Carr said in a statement released by his campaign today.
"Obamacare is bad for America and we should be doing everything possible to stop it," Carr continued. "I choose to stand up and fight. I stand with Senators Cruz and Lee to defund this bad bill. I am calling on Sen. Alexander to change his mind and stand up with Senators Cruz, Lee, and the citizens of Tennessee to defund Obamacare."

Sorry, but I don’t see the point of this at all. People are not going to rise up against 0bamacare until they are smacked by it. The dems know this and that’s why they keep postponing, giving waivers, etc.
0bama’s not going to give in. He’ll run around the country giving speeches about how the GOP wants Americans to suffer because they don’t want to provide all Americans healthcare. 0bama doesn’t care how much damage a shutdown would do. Eventually, the GOP will give in (b/c they have to face the voters again)and 0bama will look like the strong leader and not the chump that got played by Putin.

So maybe if the RINO’s fail, it won’t be a bad thing. If FUBOCare does get to kick in, it will ratchet up the pain on the LIV’s and the Union Goons to the point where they may “get religion” and vote for Tea Party folks next year.
Lamar is another Dem collaborator, just like McLame. Hope he get primaried.

I agree with that on the surface but there are a lot of non-dems who will suffer those same consequences. FIGHT ON.
There’s no doubt people who were wise enough to oppose 0bamacare from the start will suffer as result of its implementation. However, if we really want to go Galt, we have to let the gov’t devour itself before rebuilding.
