Obama admin: Boehner has ‘Putin envy’
Washington Times ^ | Sept 19, 2013 | By Dave Boyer

President Obama’s spokesman said Thursday that Speaker John A. Boehner suffers from “Putin envy,” after the speaker’s office criticized Mr. Obama in a video for being more willing to negotiate with the Russian president than with House Republicans.

“The video, I thought, demonstrated a little Putin envy, a little odd bit of Putin envy, on behalf of the speaker, but maybe he can explain that,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney.

One thing is for sure, the phrases “statesman-like” and “Obama administration” are never used in the same breath.

Though leftists are masters of projection, this statement leads me to believe that the Obama admin is such a sycophantic echo chamber that they may actually not know that Putin emasculated bammy on the world stage.

AGREED. Also that this “Putin envy” remark has to be about the most immature and divisive comment of late. Especially when Putin has so successfully filleted 0bama of late.

His opinions must match those of Obastard’s, because if they didn’t he’d have been reined in by now. They’re both snarky pr**ks.

Putin: No discrimination against gays, but Russia needs to encourage heterosexual couples

Thursday, September 19, 2013 2:33:55 PM · by Arthurio · 5 replies
VALDAI, Russia — President Vladimir Putin denied Thursday that gays face discrimination in Russia, saying that a new law that has drawn protests worldwide does not infringe on their rights. Putin on Thursday maintained that the law bans only “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations among minors.” He argued that it is “no infringement on the rights of sexual minorities” and insisted that European laws allowing gay marriage contribute to population declines. The Russian law has prompted calls for boycotts of the 2014 Winter Olympics hosted by Russia in Sochi. Putin said while some European nations have allowed gay marriages, “the...

Indeed.

I’m reminded that for over 50 years - Russian tried to dominate the US. From before WWII to after the fall of the Berlin Wall - Communist russia tried to “bury” us.

The failed, of course.

But now? Now it seems they have picked up on a course of action that will suceed in overtaking the US. And as we are running as hard as we can at failure - Russia seems to understand what a successful country must do.

I hope they win.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wishing we had a President that actually had an agenda that benefits the very country he represents.

Putin's Russia is winning because the USA is without any real leadership that actually believes in the America that you and I believe in.

It's only normal that a nation's leader is going to put his country first in any negotiation. With Obama we are vulnerable. Putin's not the only leader that puts his nation first, they all do... except our President.

Obama hates America as much as, if not more than Putin. It's obvious.

True, if it's in Putin's interest is very unlikely it's in OUR interest but if it's in Obama's interest I KNOW it's not in OUR interest.

We are in a pickle.

Not Putin envy, more like Putin regret; in that, it is regretful that the voters in the US would elect a president who is much closer ideologically to Putin than he is to a moderate republican. It is regretful that he is more willing to negotiate with Putin than he is with the Speaker of the House.

I totally get it: by your own example, we are choosing between a leader who does not have U.S. interests at heart, and a leader who does not have U.S. interests at heart.

From a logical standpoint, the preference for one over the other is mystifying.

I prefer Obama. He is an incompetent wanna-be tyrant.

Putin is a competent wanna-be tyrant. He’d already be a full-blown tyrant, but it will take time to rebuild the Gulag Archipelago, the NKVD, and find his own Beria to run it all.

The competent one will implement the tyranny sooner and much more securely than the incompetent one, with much less chance of failure.

So between the giant douche and the turd sandwich, I guess I’d have to go for the giant douche.
