Ozone is probably too much of a good thing.

“Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) can be employed whereby water contaminants are oxidized by one or more of four different precursors. These AOPs react with water to produce powerful oxidants such as hydroxyl radical (OH·), singlet oxygen (O) and molecular oxygen (O2).”

Ozone (O3) can harm lung function and irritate the respiratory system, as well as exacerbate asthma, bronchitis, heart attack, and other cardiopulmonary problems.
