May he survive.
Stew in your hate, Walsh. Cruz rocks!
Flak,,, Target. Anyone have the B-17s over Germany pic?
Liberals know nothing but hate..hateful despicable little trolls that is what they are..GOD BLESS TED CRUZ..to me he is a hero God Bless him!!
Yet the high and sanctimonious media and political hacks insist of forcing it down our throats with a boot to the back of our necks.
Cruz/Gowdy my wet-dream team from hell for the liberals!
I'll tell them something for free. If the media pick this years nomination again, you know, the McCain's/Ryan's/Christie's etc, all these moderate squishy types, then I not only won't vote for them, I'll stay at home. I don't HAVE to vote which is something that GOP "leaders" seem to fail to take into their calculations.
Do leftists really fool themselves into thinking that even Republicans don’t want to defund Obamacare? It’s so beloved....
Sounds like Walsh hit a Saloon before writing this article.
IF she thinks that this GOP infighting is something, wait till we all unite and kick their red asses out of power.
The Demonrats have awoken a “sleeping giant” with many heads - Gun Rights, Education Reform, Pro-Coal energy, anti-Tax/IRS movement, anti-PC movement, Mens’ rights, Drill-Baby-Drill movement, anti-union movement, First Amendment Rights, anti-un-necessary surveillance movement, etc.
And they are all coming your way, Walsh, from now thru the 2016 elections, and will run over you like a Abrams tank over a trash bag.
everyone? Cruz is just 1 vote
The more he is hated in Congress, the more the rank and file Conservatives love him. Cruz has figured it out. He wasn’t sent to Washington DC to be popular.
And, how many people are there out here in the hinterlands?
Just a Salon psy-op aimed at attempting to reverse the reality that he is actually quite popular.
Ted Cruz, Hold up the mantle. America has your back.
The retarded Joan Walsh again. LOL! What a ditz.
Whena a communist skank like Joan Walsh starts writing simple drivel like this, you know the good guys are doing something right.
Ryan says they all want to achieve the dame goal. Then why did they try to sneak a phony “no” vote through that would allow the senate to fund obamacare?
“We all believe the same thing, we all want to achieve the same goal, and so we shouldnt be questioning each others conservatism over tactical disagreements.”
I have a hard time with this argument. How does funding Obamacare now result in getting rid of it in any plausible future? Even if R’s take the Senate in 2014, repeal will never get past a filibuster nor a veto. Does he really think there’s a good chance conservatives we will get a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and the presidency in 2016?
Barring that, there’s no chance for repeal. Therefore, this is not about tactics regarding the best way to get rid of Obamacare, it is about whether Obamacare becomes permanent.
Conclusion: It is a strategic dispute within the Republican party (disguised as tactics) about whether Obamacare SHOULD be gotten rid of.
Go, Ted, GO!!
Dear Republican Congress:
When Obama/Reid and the demonrats come to you begging for money to fund the government, say here it is and present your prepared budget — with zero funds for obamacare — and let them know straight up that there will also be NO debt limit increase and, throwing Obama’s own words back at them, there will be NO negotiations!!
If they say no or refuse to go along, reject what the senate demonrats send back to you and begin passing “clean” appropriation bills one by one per each essential department with no amendments allowed. Double dog dare them to deny funding to each department, one by one!!
Keep up the good work all the way to Nov 2014 if necessary. We the people have your backs!!
It’s your constitutional power and duty to control the runaway government. Do your duty!!
In The Federalist No. 58, James Madison described the centrality of the power of the purse’s role in the growth of representative government and its particular importance in the Constitution’s governmental structure:
“The House of Representatives cannot only refuse, but they alone can propose the supplies requisite for the support of the government. They, in a word, hold the pursethat powerful instrument by which we behold, in the history of the British Constitution, an infant and humble representation of the people gradually enlarging the sphere of its activity and importance, and finally reducing, as far as it seems to have wished, all the overgrown prerogatives of the other branches of government. This power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people, for obtaining a redress of every grievance, and for carrying into effect every just and salutary measure.”
Salon is squealing, Cruz must have them by their two back feet.
