Rove threw out statistic of who do you trust with health care Dems 36 to Rep 21%. This is only significant if we know what the poll takers think the Reps will do. Do they think Reps are going to defund or continue with situation normal?
The Navy Yard discussion this morning is absent the fact that this guys name is Mohammed whatever and he’s a muzzie terrorist in hiding! No one mentions any of this.
Kurtz has a voice made for print media. He talks like he has a skull full of snot and a nose full of brains.

Real not for profits aren’t taxed nor do they give departing directors $5 million payments as part of a golden parachute. I just find the term misleading when it comes to healthcare insurance companies. Obamacare already contains provisions that try to limit the amount of profit insurance companies can make and how much they can spend on administrative costs including advertisement budgets.
Man, I haven’t even mentioned the car.
There my husband died 4/9/13. The funeral people tell me I must go to the dept of wills and such. But I must wait 30 days.
Now I don’t know why I must wait 30 days to get some piece of paper that will allow me to title the vehicle to my daughter, who was driving around in a piece of crap. It was a car over ten years old, paid for the day he bought it. Billy made sure I knew where the title was before he died. He wanted me to give it to Melissa.
Why couldn’t I title this car to my daughter on, say, 4/10? What was the gubmint doing telling me I must wait...no WAIT! the funeral people said 30 days but the will people said...too bad Ms. Fish, you are a day early, you must wait until TOMORROW, cannot retitle until THIRTY ONE days after death!
Why?
Nobody at the Czar of wills and shit knew the answer. I did a big write up on it and, of course, the head of the dept of wills is my Words With Pals friend and one staff member is in my choir.
I carried on bejeesus....WHY CAN’T I GIVE MY DEAD HUSBAND’S CAR TO MY DAUGHTER? WHY MUST I WAIT THIRTY ONE DAYS?
A lot of investigating and my choir member, who admires me greatly God love her, finds the answer.
It’s to appease the creditors. In other words, had my husband a car with some sort of lien on it, the 31 days gives that creditor time to file for their part of the dead person’s car.
Or something like that.
AND NONE OF THE BUREAUCRATS KNEW THE REASON! Only me, intrepid citizen reporter, got to the bottom of it.
Silly laws and silly rules control us all, folks.

Baucus?
He’s already announced that he’s “retiring”, won’t run for re-election and has spent most of the time since that announcement posing as The Great Bringer of Federal Gifts while his office/website doesn’t act like they particularly care if anybody is even left alive in Montana. (Unless, I suppose, they’re Big Contributors and/or Known Reliable Votes.)
Between that attitude, the fact that absolutely no big name ‘rats have so much as raised the possibility that they’re even considering running in his place and the fact that Baucus has still got “his” 20Mill or so in campaign funds, I would pose the following:
1) He’s actually retiring, is leaving his successor up to the state party types and is just setting himself up for either the fattest K Street gig of all time or a prime ambassador job so he can be put on the same pedestal by the ‘rats as Mike Mansfield. In any case, he will do just exactly as he’s told.
2) This “retirement” is as phoney as Baucus, all he’s doing is posing as above the fray so he can ignore all us nasty rednecks while he keeps on running for another term in a stealth mode. (The Formal Announcement will probably come just before the deadline to file so opponents get blindsided...if he isn’t “allowed” to file even later.) Oh, yeah...In any case, he will do just exactly as he’s told.
Which to choose....
Well, I’m picking Door Number 2, just ‘cause that’s the only tactic they’ve not used lately and it just fits so well.
As far as the vote....In any case, he will do just exactly as he’s told.

We need entitlement reform sooner rather than later. These programs represent a $70 trillion unfunded liability and will consume more and more of the federal budget as 10,000 baby boomers a day retire over the next 20 years. And Obamacare will just hasten the process of bankrupting us.
Our glorious constitution allows almost unlimited protection for ANY politician who's ACTIONS represent the WILL of the people.
Filibusters SHOULD be rare...but, when the people are ON you side? They can be extremely effective.

On Friday’s Rush’ show, the great Mark Steyn hosting, there was a caller who emigrated from the former Yugoslavia.
All communist countries have Obamacare. His comments were about his father, who was an obstetrician in Yugoslavia.
This gentleman’s comments reflect my own personal memories of life behind the Iron curtain. My father also was an obstetrician in Czechoslovakia, We escaped in 1966 and rived in the US in 1967.
The comments about patients bringing “gifts” to the doctor in order to insure a level of care above and beyond butchery resurrected my childhood memories.
Should Obamacare become intrenched we will have England’s healthcare or much worse.

On Sunday, Chris Wallace, the host of Fox News Sunday, said that Republicans in Washington were savaging Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) behind Cruz's back before Cruz's appearance on the program to discuss defunding Obamacare. In an appearance on Washington D.C.'s Fox 5 to preview his Sunday show, Wallace said, "I will tell you I have never in my time in Washington seen a party so upset with one of its own members."
He said he had been flooded with opposition research on Cruz--from Republicans. Later on Fox News Sunday, Wallace said these "top Republicans" gave him "unsolicited research and questions" to "hammer" Cruz.
"Since we announced that Ted Cruz was going to be on the show, I've been getting background research and questions going after Cruz not from Democrats but from other Republicans," Wallace said on Fox 5. "They really feel he has put them in this corner that they can't get out of gracefully and they're not very happy with him."

“Law enforcement officials told NBC News that Alexis created a webpage with the name “Mohammed Salem.” This is the first I am hearing of this, and have seen no media mention of it (although the fact that he had been a Buddhist has been headlined and recounted numerous times, despite the fact is that there is no compulsion to violence, oppression and ethnic cleansing in the teachings of Buddhism).
It is striking that he would create a page “Mohammed Salem.” Perhaps as he became more violent, he identified with the homicidal doctrine of jihad. I do not expect the jihad-aligned media to look into this aspect of the case.
Clearly, Muslim Brotherhood groups were concerned that it was jihad. Hamas-CAIR canceled a press conference on Tuesday that was going to expose the funding of the “islamophobia” industry. What funding? I mean, really. And devout Muslims cheered and suggested responsibility for the Navy Yard shooting that killed 13. And many jihadists “expressed their joy” that the Nazy shooting was a response to Muslim leader Ayman al-Zawahiri ‘s strikes in America.”

You make a really good point. The big question however is this the right issue and the right time. It’s true however that if enough people get on this new give away it will be near impossible to get rid of,they all are.
