As others have posted: Cornyn already has a primary challenger.
But, I'll clarify: I meant a serious primary challenge. While I'm not a big fan of Cornyn, I don't think he has yet done anything that would put him at risk in the primary.
Voting for Obamacare (explicitly or implicitly) would certainly make him vulnerable.
There was an article posted earlier: the GOP's best endgame will be to hang the albatross of Obamacare around the neck of the Democrats. But, the GOP has to to be unified, or anyone who votes with the Democrats will join them.
I think the GOP will do well in the 2014 off-year elections, because it will be dominated by the people that are paying attention. But, I don't think the low-information voters will finally figure out what happened to them until they have to file their tax return for 2014 in April, 2015. And that will be the GOP's ace in the hole for the 2016 elections.
Communicating with Cornyn about how the cow ate the cabbage seems to have given him second thoughts. That’s good.

Well, Dwayne better get his butt in gear! No one else here has heard of or from him.
Cornyn will do what the rest will do with the exception of Cruz and Lee. They will all vote for cloture then vote no on the bill. And their communications staff will go to the voters and say, “they voted no.”

The fact he is not some big college educated person who has been climbing up the political ladder, but is an articulate “one of us” and after watching him speak, tells me he might just have a chance. He damn sure has the right ideas!

Hmm ... unfortunately, Cornyn tends to say one thing while campaigning and doing the opposite once elected.
Called Cornyn TX offices in DC and three district locations. I was able to get through to only leave messages, regarding the cloture vote.
Called Sen. Tom Coburn OK at DC and district offices & left messages.
That I was able to get through means more calls are needed.
Jane, are we aware of HR 3962-28, tucked into Obamacare, in pages 1501, 1505-1508, to implement the “chip”, referred to as the Class II device?
I don’t believe that intent or the language was ever removed, though in 2010, the words were changed, made more vague, but the chip with GPS included remains.
None of our guys are addressing that, so what happened with all that. Do you know?

Exactly. A few of these traitors have been sucked in by the DC fog, that land of Oz where they pretend it's just a few radical crazies that want to defund Obamacare. If the dems hear it too (like with the bombing of Syria threat) they can't pretend people aren't noticing. Plus, in some states where they could lose, it might be smart to ally themselves with Cruz instead of McCain.
One thing for sure. The Republican slime who've been working behind our backs to save Obamacare will be exposed, and they'll never be voted into any office again.
Cornyn is running for reelection in 2014. He will return to screwing us in 2015.
