Texas Sen Cornyn ignoring Texas Voters

Posted on 09/24/2013 11:05:40 AM PDT by rstrahan

Tried calling Sen Cornyn's office, both the local office and the DC office. The offices are not answering the phones and the voice mail boxes are responding that they are full.

Sen Cornyn has joined the McLame/Gramnesty wing of the party, and for all his protestations, with his actions today to stand against efforts to fund Obamacare, he has lost my vote next election.

I’m really surprised that Cornyn isn’t being primaried. If Ted Cruz proved nothing else it’s that a determined, committed Conservative can overcome the establishment GOP and win the nomination.

Tom DeLay should come home to Texas, now that his persecution by the Democrat Party of Texas is coming to a close. He would beat Cornyn, who has lost his nerve in the middle of this most important battle. We can’t count on him, so he is useless.

Do we stand together against the forces of tyranny?

If ever there was a time to do so, it is now.

We will never be stronger than we are now.

Senator John Cornyn is the Republican Minority Whip to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

These two men control how y’alls interests are represented in the US Senate.

Both Cornyn and McConnell have pledged to oppose the efforts of Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to defund Obamacare.

To oppose Cornyn and any other Old-Style Republican, please contact them early and often.

Below is the contact information for Senator Cornyn.

BTW, an “Old-Style Republican” is one who always surrenders before a fight, because a better time to fight is always some time in the future, “away from the fog of the controversy.”

Strike a blow for THE NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY !

Cornball has two challengers, at this time. Dwayne Stovall and Erick Wyatt.

Don't know anything about either, but I intend to find out.

Cornyn is hiding under Mrs Midge Beasley McConnell's skirt...COWARDS!!

It’s too late to primary Cornyn and he knows it. We are stuck with him for 6 more years.

The only challenger to him that I know of is Erick Wyatt. He is a Tea Party type. I looked for him on Facebook and he has a grand total of 300 followers. That is not good.

Time to primary him

**************

There are just over 70 days until the primary filing deadline begins on Dec. 9, 2013 for the
March 2014 GOP primary. So far there hasn’t been a named person with financing announced
that they will enter the primary. Do you know of any that may announce outside of the
person in Rockport?

It most certainly is not too late. We were able to take Cruz to a run-off...and that effort didn't start until a few month before the election.

With all due respect. That is the same thing nearly everyone was saying about Cruz vs Dewhurst.

Cornyn is ripe for picking off and he knows it or he would be answering his phones.

This is news? He is a sorry rat bastard rhino.

You couldn’t get a straight answer out of him if you had him up against the wall with a firing squad ready and all he had to do was answer just one question, any question, yes or no... either would do and save his stupid worthless life but he would not do it. Giving a yes or no answer would mean he had to come close to making a firm statement or decision... he can’t do that.

He lost my vote the last time. The problem is the two conservatives (I don't know a lot about either) running against him split the dang vote. :-(

He didn't win a full majority, lots of us voted against this mealy-mouthed, two-faced, split-tongued, annoying traitor to all that is conservative.

I think a strong conservative challenger would take Cornyn out with the same landslide numbers that Ted Cruz took out powerful, entrenched, well funded David Dewhurst. Especially now, Cornyn’s Facebook unpopularity and his refusal to face his constituents at town hall meetings makes him look real vulnerable. We need to raise a viable candidate.

No. Texans let illegals walk all over them on the street and in the stores.

They apologize for not speaking spanish (well) , they trip over themselves trying to speak spanish
The shopowners and managers ignore veterans pushing them out of tge way in favor if the rude disrespect its of our laws

They’re like rinos attacking their own in favor of the opposition

If amnesty goes through texans will take it

The mayor of San Antonio. Look him up. The complete and total ambitious opposite of a conservative. How did he get in?

Also, do you really think that we were enamored with Rick Perry and therefor Kay Baily lost the Govs race? Could it be that most of us in Texas have had a belly full of Republicans that act like Dems. Besides war chest is not everything or once again, Cruz would have never beat Dewhurst.
