... Indeed, the entire Old Guard of business-as-usual comity fans passeth. When you care more about what the other side thinks, its probably time either to switch teams or step down.
There is new leadership in the GOP, whether the party wants to admit it or not: Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Jeff Sessions, and the others who stepped into the breach to spell the senator from Texas.
I have a fantasy about Greta leaving FOX to become Palin’s campaign manager. Senate, then President.
Palin had too many “enemies within” during the McCain campaign.
Greta is a good friend and can be trusted by Sarah.
Let’s see what happens.
“Obamacare has to go—I have been clear and consistent in my opposition to Obamacare and desire to defund it.”
“Thank you all for the calls, emails, facebook posts and tweets this week...I am a NO on #cloture. #Defund”
“Spoke in Columbia today about the dangers of Common Core and how we need to make sure decisions about our kids’ education are made close to home - not by bureaucrats in Washington.”
“This past week, I cosponsored S.R. 225, a resolution that would create a joint select committee in Congress to fully investigate the tragic events that happened in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012, and finally report back to the American people with answers.”
The other day on the rush Limbaugh show Rush said that Cruz is a fighter. What I think he meant by that is that he not only knows how to deliver a punch, 21 hours at a time but he can take a punch and from both sides of the aisle.
I stand with this man no matter what. Finally, we have a leader in the the image of Ronald Reagan over 30 years later. Let's hope we are all on Cruz Control and he is our next President
Yes, I agree. I think that Cruz did the right thing here, but my comment that this was not technically a filibuster was only responding to another poster about whether this was a filibuster or not under the Senate rules.
RE Your Comment:
Yes, I got that... I was just applauding Ted for standing up for us.
It was a wonderful thing to see, and we don’t get to see it that often.
Just reminiscin back to days when conservative=conservative and truth was king at FR.
