NORTHAMPTON, Mass., Sept. 25 (UPI) -- An email by a student at the all-women Smith College in Massachusetts proposing an all-straight sorority has gone viral, school officials said.
The email, originally posted by another student who found it on a Tumblr blog, was purportedly from a straight student at Smith who said she felt "marginalized" by the homosexual community at Smith and proposed an "exclusive" chapter of Delta Gamma for straight women.
The writer proposes activities such as "sorority mixers with Amherst men, weekly dinner dates, weekly photo shoots where we would dress up nice [and] baking nights."
The message made headlines on multiple online news and gossip sites, USA Today said Wednesday, including Buzzfeed and Slate.
The message was roundly condemned at Smith with students gay and straight alike saying no such straight-only group would be accepted.
"Incidents of this type go against our understanding of what it means to be a community," student body President Augusta Gronquist wrote in a campus-wide email. "People in our community are hurting right now; many issues, a lot of which are unspoken or frequently ignored, have been raised and need our attention."
An attorney for the national Delta Gamma sorority said she was unaware of who wrote the original email but said the group does not support creating chapters that discriminate against potential members.
Straight is queer code for normal. Why use queer jargon designed to normalize deviant behavior?

I have a problem understanding why a straight woman would go to a college that is known to be queer.

If that’s the criteria you’d limit yourself to maybe 10 colleges, or less.

I believe the Bible refers to “breeders” as cattle and sheep.
Because when you graduate you can write your own ticket.

I had a guy ask me at a party many years ago when I wore a much younger man’s bluejeans, actually he asked my friend who knew the guy holding the party, “Is he cool?” as he pretended to hide and considered passing on a joint.
I said quietly, “I’m right here, but I’m not cool. Keep this yourself, but I’m a narc.”

Sounds like the kind of girl I want to date: Aka a feminine “girly girl”, and not a feminized woman typical of today’s women.
...but it is ok and likely encouraged to have a homo or ethnic only group. Go figure!

My wife went to Smith and I heard the term “breeder” used unironically.
