The two adult film actors at the center of the porn industrys HIV scare broke their silence Wednesday and talked openly about unsafe industry practices.
Cameron Bay and Rod Daily, two of the porn stars who tested positive for HIV within the past month, held a press conference Wednesday alongside AIDS Healthcare Foundation President Michael Weinstein, who has long argued that condoms should be mandatory in porn productions.
Ultimately, its just a big industry, and their main concern is money, said Daily, who tested positive for HIV shortly after girlfriend Bay tested positive. If they do care that much about the performers, they would use condoms.
When you first start, its great. They want you. They have to have you, she said. But as soon as you test positive, you become just a liability.

On the video there's some strong talking (politician?) who says "We have public system that's SUPPOSED to protect us from disease!"
Football? No hard hits.
Delicious candy? MUST always eat WITH the wrapper on.
EVERYONE SAFE, ALWAYS.
THIS from the, “If it feels good, DO IT..!”-crowd.
Bring it all down, baby, yeah, do it in the road!
WITH THE WRAPPER ON.
If you cared about yourself you wouldn’t become a porn “star”.
Timing is propitious.
Cute freckles but the rest is nasty.
I’m sure Obamacare will take care of it....
I don’t think condoms work after you already have HIV...
These people are clueless...
Did Buck Naked have anything to say? (George Costanza sub-reference).
if they cared more about their own health than money and being a slutty celebrity, they wouldn’t do porn and have sex with dozens to hundred of different uys.
I am sorry that they are HIV positive as it is highly likely that they will be on Medicaid and cost us all money. But to expect us to feel sympathy for people who would disrespect themselves so much as to have sex with strangers in order to film it and release it for public viewing. No, I don’t think so!
Maybe OSHA should get in on this. Make them wear condoms, latex gloves, safety glasses, and hard hats.
Comment of the day! Well done.
Obamacare to the rescue!
I'd hit it.
It’s okay, you got Obamacare. Obamacare will fix your HIV.......
Maybe they got it from the Tattoo Parlor?
The problem is GUYS who are paid for big bucks for GAY PORN, but who sometimes cross over into straight work.
PETER NORTH once did gay porn, for example.
Here, too, the builders of Liberal Paradise CANNOT really rest until YOU ARE POOR AND/OR HAVING NO FUN.
Hey, sorry, but that’s the troof.
What’s the big deal? Magic Johnson tested HIV positive 100 years ago and he’s still fine! /sarc
The souls and lives destroyed by this filth, it should be outlawed or at least restricted to backroom hellholes like it used to be in shame away from most of the public that doesn’t want this..!
Let’s bring back shame.
See? That shot is bi-curious AS ALL HELL.
He might sometimes like chix, sure, but that bro was poo-poking FO SHO.
And for better money.
THANKS, HOMOZ..! Freakin BUG CHASERS.
Unfortunately, condoms are no true guarantee against HIV. Anything that is made to stretch, ie: rubber, latex, etc. is very porous. That’s what makes it stretchy. Though the holes in those products are usually extremely small - microscopic - they aren’t all. There are some holes you can see with the naked eye. And along with that is the simple fact that those naturally occurring, microscopic holes are often ten times larger than the HIV virus. In my profession, we’re advised to use 2 or 3 pairs of gloves on top of each other, when dealing Hepatitis or HIV patients. Those gloves are often made of the same material as condoms. So, you’d really need to wear 2 or 3 condoms at a time to protect yourself against Hep B, Hep C, or HIV. What would that do for sensation? Is it really worth it? The most sure-fire way to avoid STD’s (or STI’s as they’re now called) is to remain celibate or be in a truly honest, committed, monogamous relationship such as marriage. Otherwise, you’re playing Russian roulette with your health and your life.
You’re on your own.
Why would they think the porn industry would care about the performers? They can replace the performers at any time, and often would make more money doing so.
They can have a new genre, AIDS porn
disgusting filth of human debris
“I’d hit it. “
Helen Thomas is one thing. This is a whole different brand of nasty.
you are not serious
Rod Daily? LMAO
“Rod Daily”? cute.
Any possibility that these infected porn actors will ever work again in that business is zero, even in production. Which means their influence in the business is zero as well.
The only effective thing the industry can do is to stop using bisexual male actors, because *they* are the ones that get infected, and infect others.
But the real hilarity will come when the antibiotic resistant gonorrhea makes its entry. Now almost exclusively a “black disease” in the US, since it may become untreatable, nobody is going to want anything to do with someone who is infected.
That's just nonsense. When used properly, condoms are extremely effective against the spread of HIV/AIDS. The problem is when condoms are used incorrectly, and breakage or other problems result. In real world studies, which take into account the fact that many people doing use condoms correctly, condoms reduce transmittal rates by upwards of 85%.
Or with these two dorks, do homo flicks and let some other guy port them out and infect them.
For whatever reason, Peter seems to be alive and well the last I heard or read.

LOL. I assure you that condoms are 100% HIV-proof if used properly.

I have a spouse and it’s not an issue for me. And my child is too young to think about it.
