Rep. Peter King, who called fellow Republican Ted Cruz a 'fraud,' said his office is now receiving threatening phone calls from people who say they're supporters of the Texas senator.
"You can't always blame a person if his followers act in a terrible way," King said on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer." However, he expressed concern about the "vile, obscene" nature of the phone calls.

If the people calling him are vile, it must be a regional thing, kind of like his own style of vitriol. I frankly question the validity of his declaration. Unless these elites think anyone daring to question their decision making are vile and mean.

Cruz for President! All of his supporters know who is vile and obscene and we are taking names.
Gosh. I’ve been called a terrorist, anarchist, dark stain, hostage taker and rapist (among other things) by various democrats due to my Tea Party sympathies. I consider that vile, Mr. King. I am a law abiding, self supporting, tax paying US citizen. Why have you never attacked those that called me names?
My long experience with the libtards tells me that this is classic dirty tricks by them. Problem is that most or all of the 47% morons who get one or hear about it will happily believe yet another libtard LIE!
What's mean and ugly is the frustration and anger that people feel while these a$$holes play politics instead of representing the people.

So why is King so surprised when people respond in kind?

It thus follows that King does NOT regard Cruz as a terrorist but is just displaying the fact that he dislikes people who actually do something to advance civilization.

He may be partially right when you consider that his definition of obscene no doubt is easily expanded to include “any and all disagreement with him and his fellow statist Democrats over any political, social or religious issue” under his personal umbrella of what constitutes it.
Several problems here.
Why is Pete King on CNN of all places and why that noted on Freerepublic? CNN doesn’t deserve the publicity as it gets such poor ratings. Nobody would notice otherwise.
Pete King calling fellow Republican Ted Cruz a “fraud”. What the heck is wrong with you Congressman? Senator Cruz is doing his best to raise awareness to how bad 0bamacare is and could be to everyone. If you don’t support this position, you don’t belong in the Republican party. You have no business complaining about the complaints.
