(CNSNews.com) - As the people's elected representatives in Washington wrangle over the budget, the debt limit and defunding Obamacare, one freshman senator admits the news is not good.

--snip--

"Eventually, if you're going to defund Obamacare, you're going to have to pass a (repeal) bill because Obamacare is permanent law. It's part of that mandatory spending. And you have to pass a bill through the Senate and have the president sign it into law."

Can you guess how Sen. Johnson will vote on cloture?

His balls have left the building. He’s now to the left of Jeff Flake officially.

Take over Senate with Tea Party people. Get rid of President Obama—get new President! Then make Obamacare history.

Huh? Did you even read his comments????

“”I hope the American people are watching very carefully how utterly dysfunctional Washington is,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) told Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren Wednesday night. “I don’t think it’s going to improve any time soon. So my suggestion to the American public is stop relying on the federal government to solve your problems. Stop sending politicians to Washington dedicated to growing the federal government.””

Hardly sounds left to me

No, Senator, you can defund even mandatory spending. You can withhold funds for anything you choose.

So far, he has NOT committed to Opposing Cloture. Keep the pressure on him...to keep his Tea Party creds or be labeled RINO.

MAKE DC LISTEN: TELL YOUR SENATORS TO OPPOSE CLOTURE ON H.J. RES 59
We must oppose cloture on H. J. Res. 59, so that Harry Reid and Senate Democrats cannot sneak in funding for Obamacare. We need you to call your Senators right now: tell them to oppose cloture on H.J. Res 59 and remind them that a vote for cloture IS a for funding Obamacare.

Johnson came in on the Tea Party vote. I don't think he's on board.

Here's what he says:

GRETA: "Have you decided how to vote come this Friday it's going to be now?"

JOHNSON: "Well, Greta, I have to see exactly what's presented to us. I mean from my standpoint if we're voting to proceed to a vote on a bill that actually defunds Obamacare it's kind of hard not to proceed to that final passage. I mean that's --- eventually if you're going to defund Obamacare, you're going to have to pass a bill. Because Obamacare is permanent law, it's part of that mandatory spending, you have to pass a bill through the senate and have the President sign it into law. So at some point in time we're going to have to, I guess, take that risk that we've actually go the support of the American people to put enough pressure on Democrate Senators -- I mean, they're the holdouts--I every Republican Senator will vote to defund Obamacare . . .

GRETA: And when you vote on this cloture vote you don't know what the bill is ultimately going to be, right?

JOHNSON: We're probably pretty sure . . .

GRETA: Not a 100 percent sure . . .

JOHNSON: The bottom line is that the majority leader will always have that power, post-cloture, to amend the bill

They turn fast, don’t they? Dan Patrick from KSEV in Houston was elected to the state senate. He backed Dewhurst. Today he said he doesn’t believe in introducing legislation that he knows will fail. This is the exact opposite of what he said when he was campaigning.

No mention of the $2.5 million tax exempt, low interest government loan he got while running his business or the $75,000 grant he received from HUD.

Then you don’t understand cloture.

Telling people that they need to start relying on themselves and NOT the federal government says to me that he wouldn’t mind defunding O care BUT would also not be averse to shutting down the government

I posted the Senator's comments. He's saying a bill is required to defund and that every Republican would vote to defund. But, I'd like to think he'll vote no on cloture. You think he'll vote yes?
