“...Christians are being singled out and massacred from Pakistan to Syria...”

Then it’s about time to start gathering weapons and ammo and fighting back, isn’t it?

“Turn the other cheek” doesn’t work with 7th century animals bent on murdering you.

Help the mudslimes get their 72 virgins by any and every means necessary.

I must admit that the media is largely silent, but this does not mean that the “American Churches” are

US Christians have been silenced by "0"s minions and the MSM. US Christians are being persecuted by the same minions on a lower level. They are but slowly working into the slaughter stage but the writing is on the wall for all to see.

Tis true! But with Muzzies controlling the Gov (as it truly is) they will make the play for the guns first. It will always be the guns til they get them or a fight. They really do want both.

This is a response that I just sent to a kind person who sent me a FReep Mail. I will post it to each of you for your responses to my post. Thank each of you for taking the time to respond.

I’m in Alabama sadly. You are a bit far for me to drive on Sunday’s. :-) (He gave a web site of his church in Texas)

My “doctrine” is the Holy Bible. I am Southern Baptist, but I follow God’s Word over “doctrine”. If the SBC’s doctrine went against the Bible, then I am not going to follow it. I am very simple, according to 1 Cor 15: 1-4, Paul’s stated Gospel: Death, Burial, Resurrection. Jesus Christ is the one and only God. He is the Creator. There is no other. I believe in a pre-trib rapture of the Church according to 1 Cor 15 and 1 Thess 4.

Our pastor’s sermons have become “milk” to people who should be wolfing down “meat” as Paul says. We come in on Sunday for Sunday School, which is good as we have two fine teachers. But, then we bog down in the preaching services. Our night disciple training is nearly non-existent now. Few show up. The Sunday evening worship service is maybe 40-50 people max. Wednesday is fewer than that for Bible study.

We now do nothing outside the church itself. They serve a lunch meal twice a year at the college Baptist Center on campus of the local college up the highway from our small church. Other than doing that twice a year, we have no other outside service to the community. People have become lazy and fat and happy and seem to think that coming to church on Sunday morning for an hour is doing their thing for God.

We have this one guy, whom I invited to Sunday School one morning say to me, “I am a member of the 11 o’clockers”. I said what is an 11 o’clocker? He said those of us who come at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning for preaching. I asked him if he was proud of himself for making that huge sacrifice for the Lord. He just blew it off and walked away. That seems to be the attitude of many today. It is very sad. Everyone is lazy. Fat and happy. Thinking, “well I have it made, so why bother doing anything else.” We are looking to SERVE the Lord. Doing not only in the church, but sharing outside the walls of our church as well. I am looking for a pastor who will talk about these End Times and the world rapidly approaching the coming of our Lord. But, our pastor has become complacent. He will mention the word Rapture, but never preaches a sermon on it. Never preaches on Bible prophesy.

Our attendance has gone down, down, down. We have few children and young people because we don’t have the gym, cheer leading, volleyball, games, fun, rock bands, party time for the young folks. A couple of mega churches in the area have lots of kids because they “rock on” with the drums, git-tars, loud music. THAT IS NOT worshiping God in my book. But, I am 62 years old and a traditional type guy. I grew up in a small country, gospel singing, helm based church. I don’t believe this new rock and roll is worshiping God. If we are there to “entertain” young people instead of telling them the gospel, then we are failing to do our jobs of sharing the gospel.

This new church we have been going to seems to be more what we need. The pastor has preached two good sermons. Their music is more the higher beat stuff. They say they do the traditional hymns but I have yet to hear them in two services thus far. I don’t care if the church has 35 people in it as long as it is a TRUE church.

Thank you for your response to my comment.

We battle not flesh and blood, but Principalities & Powers.

Here is what Heston said:

Every time out country stands in the path of Danger an instinct seems to summons her finest first. Those who truly understand it.

When freedom shivers in the path of true peril it is always the patriots who first hear the call. When loss of liberty is looming as it is now the siren sounds first in the hearts of freedoms vanguard the smoke in the air of our Concord Bridges and Pearl Harbors is always smelled first by the farmers. Who come from their simple homes to find the fire and fight, because they know that sacred stuff resides in that wooden stock and blued steel.

Something that gives the most common man the most uncommon of freedoms. When ordinary hands can possess such and extraordinary instrument that symbolizes the full measure of human dignity and liberty.

That is why those 5 words issue an irresistible call with all and we must. So as we set out this year to defeat the divisive forces that would take freedom away, I want to say those fighting words, for everyone within the sound of my voice, to hear and to head, and especially for you Mr. Gore “From my Cold Dead Hands”.

Charlton Heston (addressing the 2000 NRA Convention)

Yep. We will be persecuted and I can’t find a pre-trib rapture in the Bible without doing a little cut and paste, magical thinking or scriptural gymnastics. Wish I were wrong.

The mainstream media has declared silence on this so most Americans know nothing about it.

Heretics, all. The verse is found in Proverbs 32:1

“And all American Christians shall avoid persecution because they seem like nice folks.”

And don’t forget the lost books of the Revelation: Left Behind 1-10. It’s everything a Bible-believer needs to know about eschatology.

Sheesh.

Our church prays for Christians around the world on a regular basis, we also are giving money to the Syrian refugee children, and now families, that are filtering into Lebanon. Our denomination’s churches in Lebanon are assisting the refugees.

There are many restrictions, what does she expect American churches to do?

Jesus did not say that God would stop Christian persecution.

You are correct. Not only did He not say it would be stopped, He said to expect it and that it would get worse:

Matthew 24:3-14 & 22 3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

...22 Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. (NASB)

Looks like only Amerian Christians benefit from a pre-trib rapture.

I need to shut up. Persecution is ugly business. Web site in previous post lists just some of the Christian genocides in the last 100 years. Tens of millions.
