Establishment Republicans Surrender: See Whether Your Senators Voted to Fund ObamaCare Here!
Freedom Works ^ | 9/27/13 | Joshua Withrow

Last week, Republicans in the House of Representatives, under great pressure from their constituents, came together and passed a Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the federal government, but which disallowed any funding for ObamaCare. This afternoon, Republicans the U.S. Senate betrayed their House colleagues and their constituents by voting to send the CR back the House with funding for ObamaCare.

The critical vote today was a procedural vote - on cloture - to end debate and proceed to votes on amendments and passage of the bill. Ending debate requires 60 votes, meaning that the 46 Republicans in the Senate have the numbers to put a stop to a bill if they so choose. After cloture, the remaining votes, including passage of the bill, require only 50 votes to pass, meaning that the Senate Democrats can pass what they wish without Republican input.

As Senators Mike Lee and Ted Cruz have been reminding their colleagues, a 'yes' on cloture is a vote to fund ObamaCare.

The following 25 Republicans stood shoulder to shoulder with Senator Harry Reid and President Obama to fund ObamaCare:

Both of mine —— biggest goddam RINO traitors in one of the most staunchly conservative states there are. Saxby is such a sleeze he knew his time was up but had to get some more payola from Obama....idiot puppy dog Isakson followed him down the path to appeasement.

Johnny has a surprise coming for him when he’s up for re-election....we aren’t going to forget this.

I just sent an email to my Senator, Burr R(NC) expressing my disappointment with him. I told him that I will no longer support the Republican party, with it’s current make up. Neither financially nor at the voting booth. Probably wont do any good.

Doing a look-up, the following are "Class II" Senators, vulnerable in 2014: Alexander, Chambliss, Chiesa, Cochran, Collins, Cornyn, Graham, Johanns and McConnell.

We have to wait until 2016 for a shot at the "Class III" Senators: Ayotte, Blunt, Boozman, Burr, Coats, Coburn, Hoeven, Isakson, Johnson, Kirk, McCain, Murkowski and Thune.

Finally, elected in 2012, the "Class I" Senators aren't vulnerable until 2018: Barrasso, Corker and Wicker.

Chiesa isn’t up for re-election. He’s the interim NJ senator RINO Christie appointed when Lautenberg bit the big one and will be out once Obama Jr. (Booker) is elected.

No surprise he voted “Aye”.

Neither of mine er no they ain't mine. I don't know who they belong to but it sure ain't me.
Anyway neither are up next year, but I swear I will not support McCain in 2016 or Flake in 2018. I will support ANY primary opponent. Hopefully Steve Smith. And in the general, if McCain or Flake are still standing, I WILL support the Democrat. Hell the real thing is always better than a cheap imitation.

Good...stay strong and resolute. In the past many of us were shamed into supporting McCain and Romney, and RINOs like them because others felt it would harm the Republican Party, and even a ‘partial ally’ is better than a total enemy.

I submit these persuaders are deluded and they are only helping traitors like McCain, Graham, Chambliss, Cornyn et al to remain in power.

As of the last vote in the Senate, I don’t give a rat’s damn about the Republican Party...I only give a damn about stopping progressives, liberals and Democrats, and I don’t need a goddam appeasing RINO to help me with that.

Good for you! More SC voters need to do that. He needs to learn without a doubt that we are watching what he does.

What I found very disappointing was that there are several senators from solid red states who decided to go with McConnell and Cornyn.

We need to have at least one solid conservative from the state of Missoura. Georgia should be good for two solid conservatives from the mold of Cruze, Lee, and Sessions. Tennessee is another state where we can do well.

We (conservatives) need to set goals to win these very winnable states to the conservative side. What we have are democrats posing as republicans.

Does anyone believe that Corker would be voting with conservatives, even if republicans win the majority in the senate. I would not be surprised at all if he stands with Reid, and help boost them, and pass their agenda, even if they are the minority.
