They want the place to be brick, or at least brick faced to fit the neighborhood. There are covenents. I don’t see a problem with this.

There properties have already lost half their value, what’s a little more, as long as it isn’t my property dropping.

Were I a thankful vet, I wouldn’t want to drag down the neighborhood values either - can’t people just get together ahead of time and work together?

The Peoria Journal-Star looked into the matter of covenants, but could not find any that required homes in the neightborhood to be built of brick
