Oh if the government shuts down I intend to riot inthe streets as mass chaos and panic sets in.....
/sarc
Just kidding I am sure it wont really affect me one way or another...
Maybe the Obama care door to door coaches wont show up and I will be lonely and have to rely on Jehova Witlesses and Mormon Missionaries to keep me company....

Send one CR back to fund the military exclusively. Send one back to fund the Post Office exclusively. Send one back to fund Medicare. One to fund Medicaid. Etc. etc. etc. Each individually. Just neglect to send one for ObamaCare. Let the Senate refuse them one at a time until the American public realizes the LIBERALS DON'T WANT TO FUND ANYTHING *BUT* OBAMACARE.

I really like your idea using individual CRs to fund everything except socialist medicine. Make the Hairy Reed spit!

“...Start passing the budget piece by piece.
First, fund Social Security.
Then Medicare.
Then Department of Defense...”
-
And then the House bill would go to the senate,
where Reid would hold a vote on cloture, and get it.
Then he would add an amendment to include funding for everything else,
and get his 51 votes to pass the amended bill,
and send it back to the House.
If the House would not accept the amended bill from the senate,
the House would get blamed for not being willing to negotiate,
and therefore shutting down the government.
Just like the senate did with the first continuing resolution,
and now with the second continuing resolution.
The senate mafia can do this over and over again.

Which Republicans voted with Reid? Good question! I want to know which republicans voted for the government shutdown along with Harry Reid and other democrats.

I thought it was significant that the Republicans held together. All is lost if the HOR does a cave like the only condition is congress has to be in unsubsidized Obamacare. (1)They're well off folks, they'll just pay the fine and (2) it'll be like the tax code. exemptions will happen soon after.
The HOR 'pubs have to stand firm now. That bill was a good compromise offer.

If the rats are disturbed about any of this they sure hide it well. Looks to me like they're all puffing out their chests in orgasmic delight.

On the day you can muster enough votes to overcome 140% Democrat voter turnout, get back to us.
