i’m going to have to call my rep tommorrow (leftist lofty lofgren) and give her congratulations on the shutdown just to see if anyone answers. (i really hope they don’t.)

I love how Harry Reid’s first order of business after this “eeeeeeeevil Republican” shutdown started was to adjourn the Senate for the night.
Dingy Harry really cares about them American peoples.

Shut off the EBT cards.
Shut off the funds to Planned Parenthood.
Shut down the EPA.
Shut down the Education Dept.
Shut down the Energy Dept.
Shut down the unconstitutional entitlement programs.

Surrender? The House should listen to every DNC shrill tomorrow about how the eeeeeeeevil Republican plan has shut down X,Y and Z Then they should pass specific continuing resolutions to fund Interior for the National Parks, Energy for whatever and just leave the IRS and HHS defunded for Obamacare. The IRS could be defunded well into the next century and most Americans won't care.
Dare Dirty Harry and President Zero to say no. We'll see who is shutting down the government then.

He is now saying they need to move on from the defund and delay to the debt ceiling. I think that if they continue the cave-in we are seeing then we will see the democrats steamroll over us on the spending and in next year’s election. The only good thing that may come out of it is that we have a dead elephant and can sooner start building a new elephant with real conservative leadership. The donkeys won’t fail to default us and kill themselves politically at some point.
Some Democrap jackwagon on the House Floor just now was shouting even better than Michael Savage when he gets mad. It was highly entertaining. It is the complete end of the world for these people that their bloated Federal Government has been shut down. They are going to be spending an hour removing that spit from the House floor microphone. Sheesh.
Delay is fine. Let Obama run on Obamacare next year. His party will either run far, far away from that garbage piece of legislation or get decimated in the midterms.

Sounds like Boehner was already in surrender mode tonight. If he does surrender then it is a sure meltdown for the GOP and very hard to unite for a strong mid-term. We need a couple hundred Cruz’ and Lee’s to win the long-tem war of attrition. We can still do it but I am very dubious of Boehner.
Can we lock the White House to the Obamas and open it again to the owners?
I wish he were Howard Beal and the rest of the Democrats for that matter and we all know what happened to Howard Beal.

If the Internet goes completely dark tomorrow, we won't know if its the Internet going down because of EMP/Internet shut down by.....TPTB/or if a cable got jostled and its just "operator error".
So, if it looks like the Internet has gone dark, check for the usual "operator errors" and, for heaven's sake, make sure you have your computer plugged in. People, don't get all hysterical until you go through all the OE's you know.
