As noted in the last post, Congressman Steve King "distracted" the Capitol Park Police while the veterans, per their training, rushed over the barriers.

It was fun , I have to say, these measly punks had their mouths shut and they knew it...so all they could come back with was nasty remarks..they had no defense at all. I had that happen at work on one ocasion with young college girls over a womans right to do with their body what they want.....I agreed with them they had that right... and that their decision to pull down their pants for some guy was when they made their decision of what they would do with their body... That that union is what makes babies or didn’t they know that.
Am really tired of the utter empty heads out there...time to speak up and I am past being tolerant of the intolerable.

Well one does have to remember that was on twitter and who knows who is real there or not. But in real life I’m careful to pick my fights for the most part...and know when it’s better to just refrain.
I have learned though..that it is often not the person who you are in debate with that’s impacted...rather the listeners when there are others standing by or apart of the discussions.
But you are right they are everywhere and bring with them an arrogance that is unending...that’s when “zingers” work rather well and they never see them coming. Also a good way to end the discussion.

According to Post 228, the Vietnam Vets Memorial is to be closed.
We’ll see what happens today. If they close this Memorial today, I will be there on Thursday. Who wants to come with me?
It is my understanding honor flight has many upcoming trips from various locations. The WW2 monument is the highlight but they go to the other monuments also during their one day in DC. It is a whirlwind of activity and fun for them. They meet new friends on the trip n the small world stories emerging are amazing

my Frankenfoot surgery, about 100 stiches. I’m doing fine, but I don’t want raise my BP.
Thousands showed up to greet and support these elderly vets when they returned to Mississippi.
The people are really riled up about this.

It really is so ridiculous. Funny thing is, the vets created such a media circus, they just might save the day and America...AGAIN!
