“He certainly did not vote to shut the government down.”...ah, how disingenuous - he didn't vote for it, but he certainly willed it and plotted it - and in a day or two when even the mind-numbed American public starts to grasp the monumental arrogance and obstinacy of Reid and Obama, he's going to eat it.....

I can’t understand why so many GOP are scared of being blamed for the shutdown. They were supposed to be destroyed by “Sequester,” too. But in the end, “Sequester” turned out to be an absurd joke — hardly to the demise of the GOP. And elephants are supposed to have long memories....?

Asked by a reporter whether Mr. Obama bears any responsibility for the shutdown that began at midnight Monday, White House press secretary Jay Carney replied, “I’m not sure what you mean.” Because that is an exceedingly complex sentence in the English language, isn't it, Skippy? But I'll go easy on him - this may be the first time his pathetic boss is even close to being held responsible for his actions. This affair is starting to look like it might be a lot of fun.
