Levin: 'I'll Bring Half a Million People' to WWII Memorial if You Lay 'One Damn Hand' on Veterans
Breitbart Big Government ^ | 10-3-13 | Tony Lee

Posted on 10/03/2013 8:41:10 AM PDT by afraidfortherepublic

Conservative talk radio Mark Levin said Wednesday if the Obama administration lays "one damn hand" on any World War II veteran trying to see their memorial that he would bring "half a million people" to it.

The Obama administration closed the World War II Memorial as part of the government shutdown and even threatened veterans on Honor Flights with potential arrests if they went past what is being called "Barrycades."

"I want to say this loud and clear to the people on Capitol Hill who are listening, to this administration. You lay one damn hand on one of those World War II vets at that memorial and I’ll bring half a million people to that damn memorial! You got that?!" Levin said in remarks on is radio show captured by the Right Scoop. "I’m sitting here stewing thinking about this – playing these damn games? You’ll ignite a movement in this country like you’ve never seen before! The biker patriot army – veterans from all over the country, every single war and battle in this country, Republican, Democrat, Independent, whatever!"

Levin said, "you're not going to push around that generation" and "you're not going to stop us."

"You've been warned!" Levin said. "Shove it."

Other conservatives like Sarah Palin called on wednesday for Obama administration officials to engage in "civil disobedience" and allow World War II veterans unfettered access to their memorial.

~snip~

Levin also said he would be "damned if one president, with his feet up on the desk in the oval office, with a smirk on his face, looking at his golf card…I’ll be damned if this president or anybody else is going to shut down that WWII memorial. Period! These men are in their 80s and 90s."

What we now need are the vets to insist on access to the Lincoln, Jefferson and FDR memorials. Keep the civil disobedience rolling ...

When will we learn? They attack us on all fronts at all times.

It's time that we returned the favor.

Why that particular red line? They’re laying damn hands on the unborn every day, thousands of them every day, legal by government decree, and many of them paid for by government. If you can bring a million people to DC, why wait?

The IRS is laying damn hands on our money...

The TSA is laying damn hands on our persons...

Yet we wait, tolerate, comply, submit.

As a side note, something I observed over the course of YEARS walking and biking the National Mall and Tidal Basin.

The WWII vets could always be found in decent numbers at the WWII memorial, obviously. But also, in somewhat lesser numbers, at Korea, Vietnam, Lincoln and Jefferson.

But hardly ever at FDR. Always found that to be ... interesting. And wonder whether it was because their alleged love of FDR was blown out of proportion by the Liberal establishment, or if they didn’t want to be reminded of what they experienced with the Depression. Or a combination of both. .

Pretty sure I can muster at least a couple dozen folks just from the various ranges I frequent.

They’ll boot up and suit up real quick.

Every one of us can multiply our numbers by at least five or six just by informing trustworthy folks of what’s going on.

Call in your local talk radio stations and let the host know about the drama that played out at the WWII Memorial these past few days.

You get an audience of a few hundred thousand people for a few seconds, for free...

Activism works both ways.

Hey Tanknetter...

My Airborne old man was a lifelong Republican. According to mom, He said FDR was “a worthless, socialist pr*ck”. He didn’t mince words. Neither did Ma...

So yeah... the “Cult of FDR” worship is probably made up, like everything else the libs have done over the years.

Only WW2 vets? How about Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, etc.? And how about their children and their children’s children and their friends and their friend’s children and their friend’s friend’s?

Wait a minute. I’ve got an idea. How about all Americans?

I’d love to see all 3 of them get together for an event in Washington. Between them they could probably draw well over a million people.

Big deal, quit talking and "just do it". Talk is cheap, with all that has already happened and what continues to happen under this dictatorship, he should have done this months ago for real. If he did, and coordinated this action with other like minded talk show hosts and tea party groups, MILLIONS of people would show up demanding an end to the never-ending tyranny we have been enduring under Obamessiah.

Like I said, stop yapping and complaining about it and DO SOMETHING ALREADY. That goes double for RUSH who does nothing but TALK and COMPLAIN about the same things over and over and over again without ever taking ACTION.

Talk is cheap, except when you are making MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of dollars to do NOTHING but talk.

I am a Vietnam Vet and I totally agree with you. It doesn’t matter if it is a Vet WWII or not. Obama has been viciously manhandling millions of American CITIZENS for years. So quit talking and ACT already!
