one has to ask - how does an unarmed woman have a verbal dispute with armed officers, in a gun free district and end up shot dead by said armed officers?

It isn’t Mark who’s leading people to the Dog & Cat rescue fund, it’s ME. Ever since the fund’s inception I’ve featured it on this thread. I love dogs but I also like cats (so sue me). Actually I am an animal lover in toto (just don’t tell the bugs).

I spent 3 hours w/ the attorney....came home after it happened ... one feller said the driver was a female African American and the presser feller said he could not talk about the unsubs race so.....
Congrats to you for the good effort. I like and own cats, it was only a sarcastic reference to cats, as I thought the effort was Levin’s and he is “always” talking about his late dog and new one. Thus the cat reference.

Mark has a soft spot for his four-legged friends as do some here. Somebody accused Mark of being “all talk” on FR the other day, which didn’t go down very well.

I joined the National Guard/Army Reserves in 1971, signing up to go to training for MOS 91-A-10 medical corpsman.
Somehow, in my mind, I figured that might make me less of a target on a battlefield.
The last week of medical school I got a letter from back home telling me they entire state guard had been reorganized and that when I got back they were going to convert me to MOS 11-B-10.
So I ended up driving Armored Personnel Carriers around for 6 years.
Yeah, a big, square, slow moving target on the battlefield, defended only by a 50 cal. machine gun.
Things don’t always work out like you plan them...
