I think your explanation is most likely what happened. What the “official” explanation comes up with I suspect will be quite different. It will not emphasize the gestappo tactics and incompetence of the keystone cops, and 0bama will use the incident for political gain.

That’s EXACTLY what I was thinking. I just saw a brief video, but it looked like they were several of them right next to the car at one time.
I was listening to the radio on the way home tonight. The 2 hosts lean liberal (need to hear what the other side thinks from time to time). They both thought that the police acted appropriately because they must have thought it was a potential terror act and/or sucicide bomber. I get that; however, after I saw the video on TV, and saw that they didn’t shoot her when they were right next to her, I just didn’t get why they didn’t shoot out her tires. The radio hosts said that they probably saw the baby in the back and didn’t want to shoot her for fear of endangering the baby. That makes no sense to me at all - if they didn’t want to endager the baby then when they were right next to her, why on earth would they open fire when they were at a distance (at least that’s what it appears to be, based on the video I saw).
BTW - who knew we had an Arabic,US government-funded TV org? I surely didn’t. Apparently, they’re the ones that took the video.
We have at least two people in this administration who think the law doesn’t apply to them or their actions.

You are reading my thoughts, as well. That moment in the video, where
she was at a stop and was surrounded by keystone cops was the moment
to either shoot and kill her or disable the vehicle. By allowing her to speed
off, she could have run over pedestrians or hit another vehicle. So, if they
thought she had a bomb, why didn’t they shoot her there or disable the vehicle, when they had the perfect moment? By allowing her to speed off
others became endangered.
The DC elites are in CYA mode.
Maybe she wanted to talk with obama about their son.

I can’t see what it says; however, on the radio on the way home tonight, they played an interview with a guy that was protesting the shut down of the government that saw part of the action. He was 1 of a several in such protest.
The official explanation will be silence.

I find it interesting that the only video was from Al Hurra TV. I don’t think any of this video was supposed to be seen by the public. And with all the people standing around with cell phone cameras. I’ve seen one video showing an empty street.
Initially the cops said there was an “exchange of words”. I don’t know if they’ve scrapped that or not.
She was driving an Infiniti. Not cheap.

Be careful. If they’re willing to come onto your property and place something in your car they’ve already decided to trespass and get personal with you. It will likely only get worse.
To defend yourself from repercussions of future confrontations you should report EVERY trespass onto your property to the local PD whether you have proof it was them or not. That will assist you as the defendant in their upcoming lawsuit against you. Yes, they’e going there.
Also, get an IR camera system and mount them where they’re not very visible. The $500 you spend on it and installation will save your thousands in legal bills down the road.
The woman was obviously scared out of her mind, probably just thinking about the kid in the back seat and wanting to get out of there.
