Carly Fiorina Attacks Cruz: 'No Honor' in Fight to Defund Obamacare

Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO Northern California Republican who ran as a conservative to get the Republican Senate nomination in 2010, attacked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Wednesday, saying there was "no honor" in his fight to defund Obamacare.

Fiorina made her remarks just days after she joined the American Conservative Union, an establishment organization on the right that supports comprehensive immigration reform.

In an appearance on CNN's The Lead, Fiorina blamed the government shutdown on Cruz and implied that Republicans would have been better off waiving the white flag from the beginning on eliminating Obamacare.

"There's no honor in charging a hill that you know you can't take, only casualties, although Ted Cruz maybe got name recognition and money along the way," she said. "But President Obama wanted this shutdown. And Ted Cruz played right into his hands."

Fiorina said she felt "badly for [House Speaker] John Boehner" and emphasized that "this is Ted Cruz and President Obama's shutdown."

"Everybody could see this train wreck coming," Fiorina said.

Let’s not let Carly do for the country what she did for HP - wreck it.

No wonder the rich bitch lost. Nobody likes her. The ACU ain’t what it used to be, and I know because I knew everyone of their leaders and talked to them on a regular basis.

Ted Cruz has guts and honor, something sadly lacking in the old GOP “conservative” movement.

The RINOS are “CRUZING FOR A BRUISING” in the upcoming elections, and I’m swinging a 2x4, not a large stick.

Remember: Sarah Palin endorsed this RINO in a primary fight against a conservative.

She made a mistake.

I'm sure on another thread somewhere you pointed out that Palin endorsed Cruz too, right.

"Carly Fiorina Attacks Cruz: 'No Honor' in Fight to Defund Obamacare..."

.... My main fear is that the GOP has failed to put a face on this thing called "Obamacare." That thing which the socialist left is portraying as that nice shiny new gold ring on the merry-go-round that is there .... Just for the public's taking that will give them wonderfully affordable and practical healthcare for all manner of folks in this great country. The only thing standing between the freedom and peace loving needy public is the greedy hate mongering Republicans that are threatening to take that wonderful gem away from them.

.... The GOP has had almost five years to put a face on this monstrosity but have failed to effectively do so. The public does not by nature learn the drawbacks and evils of this Affordable Healthcare Act by osmosis ..... it has to be taught to them. We need to understand that there is no trickle down education as a result of extreme censoring of any negative imagery and information by the State controlled media aka ... the MSM. There is only one way to educate the public on this and that is through any kind of bully pulpit that the GOP can find. Time is now running out very quickly.

........ Unfortunately this would take some semblance of something called "Teamwork" which is in very short supply within the GOP .... the party that used to be considered the guardians of the United States Constitution.

> The MSM will annihilate him no matter what we do, what shocks me is that the insiders within the Republican party are out for Cruz’s head.

Because he’s showing them how to do their job; the old guard doesn’t like someone making them look bad.

She endorsed Juan McLoser and Booby Hatch too.

Another one pointing her hand full of bad endorsements. Nevermind the Ted Cruz endorsement for example.

Well, that’s it for me. If Carly says that Cruz is no good, I’m done with him.

Carly knows, folks, she knows.

Carly Fiorina, still crazy after all these years. Still trying to find something she can be competent at. Her problem is that she has been a poster child for the Peter Principle for years and years.

HP is heading towards irrelevance due to, in large part, her absurd decisions as CEO, and she believes that her opinion is useful to the current situation? Please!

Typical Californian RINO who is quoted by the MSM simply to forward the narrative of the left.

Governor Palin endorsed Fiornia in 2010.

She should have endorsed Chuck DeVore.

I’m not looking at brush strokes anymore. I prefer the big picture.

We have enemies on both sides of the aisle, concentrate on their political demise and clean the paint brush later.

The libs and lib lovers fear Sarah and Ted for good reason. That’s good enough reason for us to support them both.

I actually supported Palin's decision to endorse Carly, from a strategic perspective. Campbell was a pro-RINO douchebag and the conservative didn't have a prayer. It made sense for Palin to endorse Fiorina, who campaigned as a center-right Republican. I posted it because you have another instance of Republican backstabbing.

Sorry.

I did exactly the same thing.

She destroyed Compaq by absorbing it in a merger. Inforworld magazine called her the “Anti-Steve Jobs.”

What a BITCH!

Sorry, could not hold back.

She would NEVER say such a thing about a Dem even when they relentlessly trashed her.

Hey, GOP—the writing is on the wall.

You cave, you will lose 2014.

You lose 2014, that is the end of the GOP.

We will create new guards for our liberty and forget your were ever our countrymen.
