Posted on 10/03/2013 9:12:17 PM PDT by Uncle Chip
(Via Mediaite) On October 1, Chad Henderson successfully signed up for a health care exchange as part of the Affordable Care Act. He was instantly catapulted into the national spotlight as the White House and every single media outlet in America sought to both confirm his story and celebrate his success.
On October 1, Chad Henderson added this widget to his Facebook page announcing his decision to enroll in Obamacare.
Little did he know, his whole world was about to change.
Hang on, Chad. This rocket ship is just taking off:
Ive now been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post,Chattanooga Times Free Press, The Huffington Post, Enroll America, and POLITICO!! Those stories will be published in the coming days. I have a press conference call with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services later tonight. Also, local folks .. my interview with Kimberly Barbour Wrcb-tv will be aired TONIGHT at 5:30pm on WRCB Channel 3 Eyewitness News so be sure to check it out thanks for all your support!
... Oopsie, turns out that lucky guy Chads social media info reveals he volunteers for Obamas Organizing For America , hes President of Walker County Young Democrats, and his Facebook says he is paid to promote for an advocacy group, a comment he now says was a joke.
They cant even get a real true-life person to sign up to talk to, everything with this administration is a set-up, a lie or a cover-up

The truth and collectivism...are strangers to each other. They’ve never been introduced.
LMAO @ these fools.
You gotta see this.
Some days I want to just sit down and cry. Tears won’t help and I’m starting to wonder if the phone calls and emails help any either.
So this was like literally the first guy to actually sign up for Obamacare voluntarily? ANd that literally noone has actually signed up yet?
That would be just incredible news to shout from the rooftops if true.
I’m beginning to think this was all planned. They knew the law was a trainwreck and would not work. But they weren’t going to admit it. So, they figured they’d shut down the government at the same time as the “roll out” but making signing up impossible. Then they can say “It’s the computer.” Apparently they don’t have the server the NSA has.
I still only see stories about how many people visited the Obamacare websites. I see nothing about the number of happy satisfied customers. People walking through a mall looking through a few open window cases with dancing elves and sugar plumbs and past a lot of boarded up shops but not stopping in stores them to buy anything sure doesn’t make a success full shopping season.
This thing is a complete disaster. It's like the Federal government passed a law requiring motorists to drive on the left side of the road -- but only if their license plate has a letter "A" in it.
I have to admit... I never thought the first few days of Obamacare implementation would be so fun for conservatives.
Nah, he's not looking for attention or to score some DNC points! I wonder if he dreamed up this little adventure himself, planned it with his Dem support group, or a DNC bigwig sought him out to be their "hero"......
This is one skirmish.
Fred Barnes and Hugh Hewitt, no radical conservatives, were chatting yesterday. They were comparing this to the ‘95 shut down (I remember it as nothing but a lot of nothing plus an added revolt against Newt, who rose to the fore, didn’t back down - and we worked for the govt at the time).
They said it was predicted as the end for republicans. They gained in the next election.
Hugh said something about something I’ve noted. it was that this is different because people are not as tied to the main stream media.
That there is so much going on with social media. People are so aware of the moves politicians are making because they are following on twitter and facebook, (and media that follows information therein, on the internet, radio, etc).
He said the democrats are woefully out of touch with this.
Especially Reid and Obama.
And Fred agreed. They said the dems were caught off guard with how the public is so informed.
And Hugh said it started with Breitbart and what he was doing.
Ted Cruz had a townhall internet meet last night with 100,000 people. Interactive. People respond to being listened to. Cornyn wouldn’t answer his phone the other day. That’s 180 from holding a meeting with whoever wants to join.
Teaching ninth g English, I bring out ‘Red Wheelbarrow’ when we get to that period in American Lit.
We have spent entire class periods on it. I use it to show them how much can be said in a few words.
Phhhttt! Liberals have no truth.
Democrats frustrated by another Hanging Chad.
Liberals thought it was free. Liberals believe America is rich because they see people with more stuff.
Liberals are not very bright. They are closed minded folks that cannot compete in a land of freedom. They are lazy, in a nutshell.
Hence a certain suspicion that we're being put on. Come on, seriously? These are the people who are going to run organ transplants and brain surgery? These people vote? They drive? They walk around unattended?
Organ transplants. Wow. I hadn’t thought of that.
No, there won’t be any.
If there are doctors, we’ll be lucky.
Potential patients won’t sign up for this (well, they can’t, but that’s beside the point).
Anyone, any pundit, politician, anyone, who doesn’t firmly claim to be against this disaster will regret not having done so.
Why don't we hear of members of the pro-Obama media being among the first to sign up for constitutionally indefensible Obamacare. Or have I missed something?
That may turn out to be a kindness. If I need a new heart I don't want some bureaucratic moron to plop a spleen in place and call it good. ;-)
Breitbart :) It would be great fun to have him fighting this one with us. There was just something about him— he could make stall mucking an entertaining sport.
Thanks for the post, my attitude was in need of adjustment.
“This thing is a complete disaster. It’s like the Federal government passed a law requiring motorists to drive on the left side of the road — but only if their license plate has a letter “A” in it.”
if you’ll allow me, it doesn’t even need to be that complicated. when you said motorists, I thought, the government can’t even run the dmv efficiently, and they’ve had a hundred years to get it right.
Oh, yeah, exactly. And that’s WHY there won’t be any.
Not one word have I read about decrease in enrollment at major med schools.
Easy enough to research, I guess. But it HAS to be way down.
“Liberals are not very bright. They are closed minded folks that cannot compete in a land of freedom. They are lazy, in a nutshell.”
ah ha. you just said something that’s only half the story. liberal common people are not very bright. welfare queens, union laborers, seiu etc. their leaders however, are extremely bright, that’s why they’ve made great strides since the fifties.
in contrast, your average conservative is a very educated person, but sorry to say, our elected gop are either bad politicians or a little slow witted.
Nothing but a sock puppet. 2 things fall from the sky, fools and bird sht. This was all planned by the fascist on the left. 1 out of millions.
Will, it honestly never occurred to the leaders of the GOP that they should appeal to idiots.
It is going to be an unfortunate outcome for folks that do not strive to be their best and understand their Nation.
I do not tolerate or suffer a fool.
It figures. Everything about O Care is BS
Turn that frown upside down.
Relax and be secure in the knowledge that YOU are the only hope for this country. There is no chance that the Rinos and Dems will save the country. The Tea Party types will get it done eventually, and it may be a painful journey, but it will get done.
The preprinted signs can be generated from scratch in about 5-15 minutes, then banged out repetitively.
The sign shops now all use PC software tied to MS Office with MUTCD minimal codes. That’s also why there’s so much variation in them. Strict uniformity in the signage appearance requires somebody to actually sit down, generate a shop drawing, with all the details.
Instead, they tend to be simply directed to use a particular MUTCD sign shape and size, with a particular message, then it goes into fabrication. The rest is field installation. In this case they look like they were all zip tie installed.
From my perspective, Wash DC govt is probably well tooled up for pedestrian and traffic management with barricades and hasty signage installation. I’m a little surprised they wasted the resources on publicly accessible places, when the same manhours would have been better justified in trash collection and hosing down the streets.
“Some days I want to just sit down and cry. Tears wont help and Im starting to wonder if the phone calls and emails help any either.”
I know the feeling; there are things that can help. I find it therapeutic to shine up/shoe-goo/replace the laces on an old pair of combat boots for my growing children, sharpen some tools (hatchet, machete), lubricate the entrenching tool and use it for a small yard project, etc.
You know, just some things to take your mind off it for a while...
Hmm. This thread was rolling along fine, right up until your post. I wonder where everyone went. Now where’s that bucket of lead I picked up at the tire store?
THAT is exactly how harry reid and obama want you to feel.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I'm glad you're reaching that conclusion; it's been the fact of America since at least the 2008 selection cycle.
Hopefully doing something constructive; there is always something constructive to be done around the house...
Dem butt kissers at the New York Times, Washington Post and Chicago Tribune will somehow 'miss' this part of the story...
