“Politicization of the NPS is a step too far.”

This has been a slow ongoing process for years, starting about the mid-90’s where our save-the-earth types, the tree huggers and green weenies got entry level jobs in the NPS. They willing flock to the NPS, for like the EPA, this is where they can make a difference.

These people are now in upper management positions. They now hire only their kind and are willing accomplices to any of this crap going on now.

Sounds likely. Their personal authority is now greatly diminished in my mind.

We can think Bill Clinton & his Sec of the Interior for that.
That Sec of the Interior as a 3rd generation rancher & he infected the complete Interior department with hundreds of Greenies.
