Today, the swirl of political debate continues in Washington; if only we had a Frank Underwood (the main character in the series "House of Cards") who could clear the pipes and keep the sludge moving but do so with an eye on a real agreement which made Washington work and addressed the needs, wants and desires of the American people.
We all, as Americans have opinions on the current health care debate that is the nature of our representative form of government as guaranteed by the First Amendment to the Constitution.
However, there is never any good reason for the partisan nature of politics to creep into the good order and discipline of our armed forces and the larger civilian work force.

But some how this is all the fault of the House of Representatives.
This sort of screed is just evidence of how little Obama and his cronies think of military and civilian DoD employees.
YOU DO ALL THIS IN A POLITICAL CLIMATE THAT, TOO OFTEN IN RECENT YEARS, HAS TREATED YOU LIKE A PUNCHING BAG. YOU HAVE ENDURED THREE YEARS OF A FEDERAL PAY FREEZE, HARMFUL SEQUESTER CUTS, AND NOW, A SHUTDOWN OF OUR GOVERNMENT.”
Except that the Clintons worked assiduously for years to politicize the Civil Service, forming political cells of Clintonistas within the service led by ringleaders called "change agents", protected by politically- appointed supergrades, to blow out the old "too male, too pale, too stale" </off Beastwoman rant> civil-service ranks to make room for morally more-deserving People of Color, women, wymyn, and LGBT's. They tried to take the Civil Service over and make it a Democrats-only political fortress, from the very first year the Clintons were in office.
The payoff was readily apparent when civil servants like James T. Hansen at EPA and Valerie Plame (formerly of the CIA) strode forward to attack President George W. Bush on policy grounds chosen by the Clintons.
