We’ve had quite a few hummingbirds hanging out in our back yard this year. I think most of them are probably getting ready to leave. Maybe when the cold front comes through this weekend.

One of my dads better stories.....while we were at the lake home, he told of how while he was stanging out on the deck, wearing his red wool cap, and re-filling the bird feeders...a hummingbird flew up and was trying to get nectar outta his ear. I am fairly certain he was lying like mad, but I LMAO when he relayed the “tale”

WaSnt fishing...I was herding cats (well one cat) my mother......it was a WILD week, I tell ya and thank GOD I planned the drive bringing her back here to see her sister, with the Rush program. It gav me 3 out of a 5.5 hour drive of a bit of silence from her side of the car.
Leaves turning, and yes, the scenery along the drive was beautiful! Spent a day at the lake home, so mother (remember she is 86) could “coach” and tell the workmen HOW and what trees to excavate after the last bad storm. (thank GOD they had a sense of humor)
