I certainly agree that even the conservative students
were naive but then they don’t have the advantage
of professor-mentors for the most part. And that
Hannity makes me cringe even more around young
people than older folks. He has not the smarts
to argue beyond the most superficial level.

Your assessment is unfortunately quite accurate. The kid from Yale was so smug in his garbage about not being able to put a percent on how much of your money you should be allowed to keep. All this because of his ignorant notion that we get all the value back from the money we pay in taxes.

No concept of the severity of debt, interest to be paid in perpetuity of the debt, cost of paying bloated government employees with benefits and pensions, no logical correlation of what the cost of government work is vs. an objective assessment of the market-based value of those salaries. Don’t even get started on 94% non-essential status of EPA and Education departments. We need to assess the Agriculture, HHS, HUD, Bureau of Indian affairs, Interior, Commerce, and a whole lot of other wasted places. How about all the checks sent to dead people, visiting fraud and abuse in Food Stamps, and on and on... Sean didn’t think to confront these kids with Obama’s admission that all those shovel-ready jobs he promised weren’t shovel ready while he pissed away $860B on political payoffs and crap like Solyndra and windfarms.

Indoctrination such as these kids have absorbed can only be undone in the real world when they have to pay for it in real terms. The bill will come due.

Most of those kids on Hannity were pathological liars. They lied so much that they did not even know that they were lying. Maybe some of them were not that way before they began their education but their time in school especially in college definitely brought them over to the dark side. They seem so sunny, friendly, well mannered and nice but they have a truly dark side because they have no regard for the truth and will rationalize anything. They are conceited and will not admit when they are wrong. Instead they play mind games with others to exasperate them to the point of giving up. They do not know the difference between telling the truth and winning an argument.

You can see these traits in Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton. Hilary is a practiced liar who had months to find excuses for her failures at Benghazi. She was able to dance around the few tough questions that she was asked by falling back on being just so busy with so many problems around the world that she could not have known what was going on at Benghazi. This was smoke and mirrors for the people in the cheap seats. The State Department is a very well funded state-of-the-art outfit with every type of new communications technology that exists. The State Department has its ways of reaching the top people during emergencies, even the local police station has a 911 number for emergencies and a regular number for everyday calls. The State Department had ways of communicating the extreme seriousness of the Benghazi event. Hilary was just blowing smoke much as those smug young liars did on the Hannity show.

Professional liars can get away with their lies 98% of the time. It is very difficult to pin them down as they have a gift for lying. However, Hilary was pinned to the wall by one of the questions and that was the question about what happened to all of the living eyewitnesses that were there at the Benghazi compound. This is when she went into drama queen mode because this was all she could do. On those rare occasions when a liar gets caught in a lie they can only turn on the drama or some evasive tacit.

These are the people who are bleeping up our government and education. Idiots promote idiots. We have an idiotocracy.

They were also more interested in student loan legislation than our huge debt. What makes these arrogant smartass punks think we are supposed to pay for their college when they are the ones who signed on the dotted line to pay it back. Drop out and get a freakin job if you can’t afford college!

I thought the University of Virginia girl was going to make a case, but she broke extremely moderate advocating for homosexual marriages because that is what cost Romney the election (no principles). I was surprised by the University of Texas fellow, the oriental guy, who lives in the most liberal enclave of Texas, but somehow has maintained a conservative viewpoint. The girl on the top row who was speaking of killing the fetus...."don't ask me now to differentiate between viability and non viability", yet out of that ignorance come the prompting to kill her offspring. The gay guy on the upper left was beyond arrogant. One of the girl liberals spoke of Keysian economics as the savior of our faultering economy, yet she ould not pronounce the word, and no doubt, has no idea what free markets are about.

There is some hope. I have raised 3 daughters in fundamental Christian doctrine, taught them free markets, and taught them to think for themselves and not to believe what a socialist, godless professor tells them just because they say it. I am sure many of you have taught your children the same.

These children were kids of privilege, but raised without boundaries and moral obligation and duties.

It was tough to take. Both were just repeating their respective talking points without a clue how to back them up. There was one student from Texas, who was able to quote facts chapter and verse that took the air out of others that were clearly parroting what their instructors had spoon-fed them.
