With the federal government shutdown, this has been a difficult week for all Americans. Furthermore, the Obama administration’s unwillingness to negotiate is frustrating to all of us who would like to see meaningful change in Washington.
While I am disappointed by the actions of Harry Reid and President Obama, I was shocked to learn that veterans had been denied access to the WWII Memorial in Washington D.C. Our veterans deserve better than this!
It’s time to send a message to the Democrats in Washington that this sort of political gamesmanship is unacceptable.
It is disturbing to note that President Obama has found time to block WWII veterans from entering the grounds of their hard-earned memorials, but not enough time to fix our broken immigration system.
Securing our nation’s border won’t be easy and it will take all of us fighting together to make D.C. listen.
Every day as Governor, I have fought to secure our borders and to make Arizona a leader in border security. Thank you for your time.

Uh, just who? Those few who want to visit a National Park, as if there are not State Parks and other venues? Those who are furloughed, but will receive back wages as in the past, which amounts to a paid vacation?

Barrycades have only been used, so far, in Park or Mall settings.
Construction of larger Barrycades to be used on the US Mexican Border had to be canceled when the income from the Fast and Furious uncontrolled gun control “investment” went the way of other Obamanation investments.
Construction of Barrycades to be placed on Obama’s Red Line in Syria is being jointly studied by the US Military, and Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, Vladamir Putin.
Is the West Rim of the Grand Canyon really closed? I can’t see the Hualipai Nation closing down access just because the federal government decided to shut down their national parks. Is so, does this mean the casinos are closed too?
