On Thursday, the Pisgah Inn, which holds a concession on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, North Carolina, announced that it would defy the National Park Service’s order to close up, and would open doors for business on Friday. On Friday morning, NPS rangers showed up, lights swirling, to close down the business and turn away its customers, supposedly thanks to the government shutdown.
Pisgah Inn receives no federal money, and according to owner Bruce O’Connell, who spoke exclusively to Breitbart News, “All we do is pay the government money. We don’t take anything from them.” It is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was deemed a thoroughway and therefore left open by the National Parks Service. Nonetheless, earlier this week, the NPS moved to shut it down. Michael Litterst, chief spokesman for the Park Service, said, “We do not believe it is appropriate or feasible to have some parts of the system open while others are closed to the public.”

From what I see on the video, it looks like anyone who drove up to the Inn expecting to have a meal or to shop is going to encounter Park Police.
They might need to talk to them for a few minutes to understand what’s going on. I looks like a small area to turn around at the gate.
Traffic might get backed up on the Parkway.

Heard the man on Hannity say that the FedGov receives a portion of the daily receipts.
It is time for collective action, perhaps with a couple of supportive Congressional Representatives. Will NPS call out the riot squad to stop a peaceful crowd with Congressional representatives from going in to have lunch? If the answer is yes, then Obama will be unmasked even more and time for everyone to read Matt Bracken’s “What I Saw at the Coup.”
No. It is likely, because they are profitable, the feds are looking to shut them down, force them into bankruptcy, buy up the properties, and open Under new ownership, the feds or friends of feds.
Mrs. abb and I stayed overnight there back in August. Views from the restaurant are to die for.

Also, this time of year is the highest volume of traffic on the Blue Ridge because of fall foliage tourists.
No, they don’t care about money. If they need it, they will come to you and me and take it.

I would not put it past them, but I do not think they actually are thinking that far ahead - at least the operatives are not. Those folks got the memo: “inflict pain.”
