I was watching the Sox continue on the road to their next World Series rings, and it struck me that a large crowds of fans chanting "Defund Obamacare!"(or something more humorous and snarky), would be quite impossible for the media to ignore.
The chanting would have to occur while the game was in progress, not during a pause in the action that would allow the network to cut away.
Imagine this occurring at every baseball playoff, college and pro-football game.
Anyone here got any juice on twitter or other social networking venues? Imagine this going viral....
I think that is a recipe for disaster
Quiet strength will win this
How about standing and saying the Our Father or the Pledge of Allegiance and wave a little flag?
I too watched that game in part. Mostly picture in picture. Did not hear the chants on screen. Or should I say I do not remember a particular chant. If that were true I am surprised considering all those sweet Caroline liberals that live in beantown. There may be hope!
Anyway GO RAYS! If they can split away they will be alright.
It would be good to see sports fans get as involved in what’s happening to our country as it seems sports broadcasters are involved in helping obama destroy the country.
Sports broadcasters are about as PC as the communist college system.
As long as it’s a one time chant during each game, I don’t see a problem.
It would be the only reason. I would watch any or even consider going to any waste of my life ball game. Seeing annoyed and upset liberals in person is always enjoyable.
It’ll never happen. Most people at a game don’t want to be bothered by politics, even if they agree with the politics. They just want to watch the d*mn game.
No. I don’t even watch sports, but the people who paid good money to go, give them a break from politics for a couple of hours. Making every damn thing a big noisy life or death political statement, leave that to the leftists.
Now politics has become a game, with the best "playing the system".
When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty.
Thomas Jefferson
